The Bakers Oven — Restaurant in Sandwell

I've been a customer here for 4/5 years. It's gone from rude, discourteous staff, but good bread, to polite, respectful staff, but but awful food. The Eccles cakes are dry and chewy. The bread over-baked (see photos) and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't bread-pudding supposed to have mix dried fruit in it? See photos. As much as I like to support artisan bakers... this is taking the rise (pun intended!). I will not ge buying from the bakers again- but I will go in to tell them why in person. Used to be a lovely place with a great community spirit. Unfortunately the young female staff member is obnoxious, arrogant and rude, who seems to look for a fight with customers. This has been experienced directly by us and witnessed with other customers. If you go, don't expect any thing close to acceptable customer service from this incredibly rude young lady and our advice is ask for a different server if anyone else is around. Well I missed out on the crusty cobs but ended up having some granary cobs for my burger meal on the night and I've got to say . What a fantastic cob it was it really made the burgers for me 110% recommended from me I wasn't over keen on the trifle though and the donuts also 110% recommended I'm looking forward to trying many other things...
