I have been coming here, on and off since 1995, but haven't been for a number of years since my father in law passed. Then, as the George & Dragon it was your typical black country pub and always very busy. Times have changed, and now it appears to concentrate on the weekend trade, complete with food and entertainment. I am guessing that it is usually very quiet at other times. I took a photo of the lounge last Saturday lunchtime. We were there for an hour and a half and during this time the only ones in the place. We would have had something to eat but unfortunately they couldn't offer food of any description. I appreciate it's tough times and apparently getting tougher for the hospitality industry but there are some pubs that seem to be thriving which are not Wetherspoon's. I would hate to see it go.

Absolutely massive pub, good range of drinks and plenty of seating. Large dance floor and stage, known to host music night's etc.

Where shall I start. Sunday 25th September 10.30am Absolutely not my best experience. We were a table of 4, all ordered together. Half of the order came out after 45 minutes. We understood the place was heaving busy. But honestly guys come on - We had to wait a further 45 minutes even after we asked where the rest of the order was.The waitress had to ask us again what we had ordered. I'm a disabled person and had to go to the loo. As I stood up and tried to steady myself, my jumper got caught in what appeared to be a nail which protruded at least 1/2 an inch from the wall. I reported this at the same time as I had to send my burnt black in some places pancake and bacon breakfast back. It actually looked like the chef had scrapped the grill in between the pancake layers!!!! By this time I had truly had enough and requested a full refund. Eventually we got that at least. But the manager said he had not been informed about the nail in the wall!!! This greatly worried me, as if this is not rectified immediately it could cause signicant damage to a child!!! I did take it upon myself to limit the possibility of further injury by marking in a circle in yellow pencil crayon around the aforementioned "nail". The whole sorry affair has left a distinctly nasty taste in my mouth both actually and metaphorically. I know that the new black is orange but come on get your act...

The food was disgusting. After 15 minutes of trying to eat this meal it was still super hot. It was home cooked food reheated in the microwave. It had been nuked too much and burnt the roof of my mouth. Customer service here is shocking. My mum ordered a carvery sat down for 10 minutes then was told she couldn't have one. Then was told she could have an alternative but was told she had to pay more. When she said no. No refund was offered. The owner took offence when a refund was asked for.

He was rude and offensive. This is an old man with grey hair. The staff swear and use inappropriate language. This place is dead. However we were told there was a half hour wait. I have seen more action at a funeral parlour. This place...
