Delicious, authentic thai food with exceptional service from staff who make you feel... Well @home. Feel really safe in there as staff were wearing face coverings and you could actively see them washing their hands/hand sanitiser. Customers have to wear a face covering when not at the table. (upon entry, toilet trips and exit) Had the calamari, steamed pork and prawn dim sum and chicken satay for starters which were perfect portion sizes for 3 people. I had the Bangkok beef (beef, noodles and leafy greens) which i can highly recommend as it was full of flavour and carried a bit of heat but not too much. tried both parents meals which were equally delicious. mum had zab noodles (chicken, rice noodles with veg and lime which gave it a refreshing taste.) dad had the spicy prawn udon noodles which was incredible taste and flavour wise. What can I say? Simply fantastic! Went here for dinner based on a recommendation and so glad we did. I’d driven past it many times and because I thought it was in an odd place for a restaurant (more like part of a small parade of shops on a main road) I’d wrongly dismissed it, more fool me. To quote one of the party who was a professional chef and has been to Thailand a few times “that was the best Thai meal I’ve had outside of Thailand, and one of the nicest meals I’ve had out in sometime.” The staff are simply wonderful, so attentive, so polite yet warm, and clearly take genuine pride in the place. Service was terrible, we were welcomed and seated quickly, after ordering food we were then offered some prawn crackers with no mention that this measly portion (possibly 8 crackers) would add additional cost to the bill. Beer is expensive, a pint of tenants was £5.45 a pint. I ordered crispy chicken, which was nothing more than a breaded chicken breast you'd find in the supermarket, that was meant to come with sauce that didn't arrive with meal and had to ask for this. Girlfriend had prawn and calamari udon which she says was good. No check during meal to see if food was satisfactory and we were quickly met with the bill at the end, with no thanks or acknowledgement on leaving the premises.
