Ayr Harbour Sky Hook — Attraction in Scotland

Erm……..Google has asked me ‘ how was Ayr Harbour Sky Hook’. Well, if you take a look at the pictures you can see exactly how it is, yes, it’s a gravity defying chain and hook, it was good enough that I took pictures of it but it’s not a thing that you would go out of your way to see. Impressive looking, gravity defying, sculpture. Chain, tackle and lifting hook embedded in, what looks like, a huge sandstone rock. Probably in tribute to local dock workers lifting heavy loads out of ships. Sculptor unknown, date of installation unknown, would love to find out more.
