Alva Tandoori — Restaurant in Scotland

Went here for a meal with my friends all big curry lovers we all had a pint of Cobra which was a great pint we all ordered different dishes and each tried each others curry/food I have to say the bar man waiter the chef etc were loveley guys offered great service and the food oh my god so tasty we all agreed none of us had an Indian meal this good in years every dish was full of flavour from the mild dish medium and hot curries the nam breads were massive but 10/10 . Over all all four of us would score this restaurant 5/5 we will return when we are in the area next August. Ordered food. The estimated delivery was about an hour. After an hour and a half, I phoned the restaurant and was told that this was because I had ordered on line as if this was my fault. I was then told it would be with me soon. An hour later, the food still hadn't arrived. I phoned again to find out where my food was and to request a refund on the £3.50 delivery charge. They hung up on me. Tge food finally arrived nearly three hours after placing the order. I was a fairly regular customer but no longer. If you want to use this restaurant, then either go to the premises in person or expect poor service and a long, long wait costing £3.50! Oh, and the food. You guessed...

Alva tandoori is not just about food, it’s about the experience. the music, and the amazing staff make it such a cool place to hang out. I especially loved their Lamb biriyani with karahi chicken tikka,mixed pakora , peshwari naan , chicken puri ,with salad and pappadoms – sweet, spicy, and juicy! Plus, they often have special offers during each season , which makes it even more fun to come with friends. Definitely a future sensation in Alva tandoori’s...
