Got the loaded chips today. They were lovely. My only negative? It's meant to have peppers and onions. But there were like 2 on on it, haha. So, the dish definitely needs more. Go here regularly. Really like it.

I visit here as often as I can, I absolutely love it. Both the sweet treats and savoury foods are just amazing. Everything is fresh. You just have to try it!

Came down from a walk on the Ochils Hills and got showered, so needed some hot drink and cakes to warm up. Friends found this little coffee shop in the centre of the village. There was a council free car park around the corner, which was convenient. However, the shop had cool white lights, and the heating was low, so it did not look or feel cosy. I ordered Baileys cheesecake to go with my plain hot chocolate. The digestive base was so hard that I was struggling to cut through it with my teaspoon, making a mess on my plate and the table. I therefore did not feel it was freshly made. Also, the Baileys flavour did not come through clearly in the cheese topping. My plain hot chocolate was very tasty, though - it was not too sweet and had a lovely smooth and thick texture - exactly what I needed on a cold rainy winter day! The staff was very friendly, but I am not sure I would return for the food.

[UPDATE] The shop owner replied soon after I left my comment. I was afraid that they would be mad at me criticising their food, but they thanked me for my review and acknowledged and explained the lighting and the hard digestive base of my cheesecake, which shows their care about the food and services. So, maybe I will go back at some point to give it...

Probably not the best place to go if you just want to grab a quick coffee to go.

I was drawn in by an incredible scent of fresh coffee that I unfortunately was unable to purchase. There was no greeting from the staff, though I was asked to close the entrance door as it got stuck upon being opened. I waited 5 minutes and left as the manager seemed preoccupied with sales for a catering service I guess they also run from front of house and there was already guests at several tables waiting to be served.

Very claustrophobic environment, cosy I suppose...

My breakfast here was the worst food I have ever tasted..the brioche toast was soggy, cold, drenched in too much maple syrup and the hardest bacon imaginable. I passed it across to my husband to eat aftery failed attempt and he ate some because he was hungry but he agreed that it couldn't get any worse and it was expensive. I would go to Laura's Tilly tearoom just up the road in tillycoultry where you will get amazing food...
