Came down from a walk on the Ochils Hills and got showered, so needed some hot drink and cakes to warm up. Friends found this little coffee shop in the centre of the village. There was a council free car park around the corner, which was convenient. However, the shop had cool white lights, and the heating was low, so it did not look or feel cosy. The staff was very friendly, but I am not sure I would return for the food.

I was drawn in by an incredible scent of fresh coffee that I unfortunately was unable to purchase. There was no greeting from the staff, though I was asked to close the entrance door as it got stuck upon being opened. I waited 5 minutes and left as the manager seemed preoccupied with sales for a catering service I guess they also run from front of house and there was already guests at several tables waiting to be served.
Very claustrophobic environment, cosy I suppose...

I would go to Laura's Tilly tearoom just up the road in tillycoultry where you will get amazing food...
