Ashers — Restaurant in Scotland

First visit as visiting area. Didnt find a friendly welcome, bit of an odd atmosphere really. Maybe they didnt like my London accent .dont know .quite abrupt service.no need to return as wont be returning to nairn anyway. It is time to update my review for Ashers. I visited again just two weeks ago. I had minestrone soup which comes with a roll and a cup of tea. The soup was just what I needed after a good walk. The place was busy with regulars but I got a seat. It is a busy place and you can take it away. For me I like to have a seat and relax. I bought quite a few things from the bakery before I travelled home. Great homely...

Perfectly lovely staff, excellent hospitality and pleasant enough surroundings. However, although the food selection is great the bread for my sandwich was stale, no salad was added and the side of chips was well over cooked.
