Nairn Tandoori — Restaurant in Scotland

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. If you actually want to eat your food, get it somewhere else. These guys don't know the area they're operating in. I ordered my food to the Camping and caravan club site, the only one in the area and very easy to find via google maps (I get lost in my own house and found it without a problem) at 7.30 and they managed to send it out to god knows where three times. Even after giving directions, they still went the wrong way. Some time after 10pm, after standing in the cold for hours waiting, and discussing with them over the phone, I had enough and drove there myself. Starving, I might add! The owner was extremely rude, merely offered to reheat the food, excepting full price. I went to the Chinese take out next door instead, who was very friendly and knew exactly where each campsite in the area is. I want to add here, that the campsite is 5 minutes away from Nairn. 5 minutes! On a straight road! Impossible to miss or get wrong. But much worse was the owners behaviour when I confronted him in person. That kind of service should not be supported. So again, especially if you are a guest of that particular campsite, I urge you not to order from them. Unless you have back up...

Went last Sat night, 4 of us, pakora was very oily, food was very average. Service = was dismal, I’m sure the wee girls serving alcohol were not 18 and I would say zero training, absolutely zero customer engagement. Spoke to the manager about it on the way out – he offered me a free cold drink. This for me shows shows the whole problem, don’t fix it! He also told me the Indian waitress has very poor English, when I asked her a question, she rolled her eyes at me and ignored me, if she can’t speak the language management shouldn’t have her customer facing. If the food was amazing (and it certainly wasn’t) the dismal service would have ruined it. Would not recommend, the lack of service shows poor management and untrained staff that are customer facing. I’d rather stay at home and cook and enjoy the evening than pay £120 and be treated like dog turd. A simple how are you or is everything okay would be a start to the zero...

Extremely rude. When I enquired the reason for treating customers rudely , the restaurant receptionist asked us to get out!. Not only that ,they are such a liar when responding to the review. They are open throughout the afternoon,but responded as just opened to answer the review. There was nobody in the whole restaurant, I think nobody bother to come due to their rude behaviours ,only takeaways. They confirmed their phone number to confirm that their receptionist was rude ,but not apogized for that , but asked us to get away. They are horrible! Thank god nearby restaurant ' Royal bengal' was there. Save yourself , don't visit them. They are dishonest in their reply, god knows what they are...
