Bluestone Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Scotland

Bluestone Coffee Shop is fab! We have been going here since we found out about it, about a year ago.

It's so lovely not having to ask what items are vegan 😁

The macaroni is my favourite, you would never know it's vegan. The paninis are great, the soup is always changing and always delicious and unusual flavours.

There's always a special board with one or two soups and sometimes a main.

The portions are a good size and a good price and really fresh.

The staff are all really nice too.

The coffee is really good too and I've tried a few cakes and they are always delicious, chocolate cake and empires etc but my favourite is the huge gingerbread slice 😋

It's a lovely setting with small and bigger tables. There is on street parking right outside or down the nearest street too.

The only issue is if you have difficulty with stairs as that's the only way up.

However, the really lovely girl in the Bluestone Gift Shop that you go through to get to the stairs for the cafe is so helpful.

If we park right outside I can manage with a stick but one day we parked down the next street and so I had to use my rollator...

The lovely girl in the shop couldn't have been more helpful, offering to open the half doors at the entrance and offered to store my rollator downstairs for me.

The gift shop is sooo lovely too, loads of lovely gifts or treats for yourself, a lot that I've never seen in other shops.

Popped in for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Lovely little cafe, very friendly staff and the food was amazing!
