Bridge Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

My friend and I popped in to Bridge Cafe yesterday afternoon for coffee and cheesecake. It's the first time I'd been there and I found it to be clean, cosy, welcoming and Covid compliant with plenty sanitiser and well spaced out tables which were thoroughly wiped down as soon as customers left. Having looked at their menu options and prices we will definitely return for lunch soon. Their tea and coffee were very good and the cheesecake was perfect. If you are in the Kingdom Shopping Centre why not give it a try .... I'm sure you won't be...

Firstly Wait to be seated sign as you enter but it'd be nice if they told you the customer is required to place their order at the service counter. My wife had a toasted sourdough sandwich and despite the cheese not being melted it was very tasty I ordered the lentil soup which was watery and tasteless, it's served with a large hunk of bread which due to the terrible soup I didn't try. The waitress/manager didn't even offer a refund for the dreadful soup when we discussed it. In summary avoid the soup...

Don't know where the previous reviews came from. Trusted them and came today. Long wait for food. Brunch Breakfast. Food just warm slapped on plate, no taste or quality. 1 item each for £8. Will never come back so poor and expensive. Trust me do yourself a favour go to Weatherspoons or somewhere much better give this...
