Read moreIf you are wearing a hijab or scarf on your head please do not go here. My mum and myself went to this place today after we seen 4 tables were vacant with no reservations signs on them. We went and the first young lady who welcomed us was very nice. We asked if she had a table of 4 available she looked at her tablet and said I’ll just ask my colleague who she went to ask and without looking at the tablet just took one look at us and said no. She made sure we felt not welcomed and horrible. At first I ignored it thinking it was my imagination or maybe reading into too far but when my mum said the same thing as we left and seeing how upset she was I decided to phone and complain. The person on the phone didn’t seem to care and have an attitude . Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
Please do not think you can scare me by saying you will take further measures. Do what you need to do. Im sure your establishment has CCTV and will prove what I said. If I was looking to just bash your business “just because I felt like it” then I wouldn’t have mentioned that the first person who spoke to us was very nice. You can’t insult my intelligence or actually gaslight me into believing that what I felt was nothing and how yourself or who ever that woman was didn’t make us feel a certain way. I understand that not everyone likes everybody but that’s your right no one can force you but please just put up a sign that certain people or actually dress codes are not allowed in , it will save us both the embarrassment just like how we were yesterday and how you are feeling probably now.

Read moreI've been to this restaurant 4 times in about 8 months. The food is very good and reasonably priced. However, they lose marks because of their staff. I've been once for dinner, once for a late weekday lunch, and twice for weekend lunch. Twice busy, twice not. On each occasion, we have not been greeted upon entry. The service has always been very slow (even when there was only one other table), and the same guy has served me 3 times. Every time, he has brought the wrong drinks order. The first time, my friend ordered an IPA. He brought him an orange-infused stout and walked off before we could say anything. When we managed to flag him down, he said they had run out of the IPA. When we asked why he didn't ask what we wanted instead, he shrugged. He then tried to convince my friend to drink the stout since the bottle was already open. We were still charged for it, even though he didn't drink it. The same guy was still messing up simple drinks orders 6 months later! Basically, if you're willing to put up with slow service and inept staff that aren't welcoming, the view and food were very good and reasonably priced for the quality. I'll definitely go again, but only when I've got 2 hours free and am in the right frame of mind to put up with...
