If you are in search of a delightful dining experience, look no further than the Bridgeview Station Restaurant. A charming haven that has consistently served up excellent cuisine, it has stolen my heart and won my palate on multiple visits. The food at Bridgeview Station Restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a testament to the meticulous attention to detail and the pursuit of culinary perfection. The club sandwich, an often-underrated staple, is elevated to a gastronomic delight here. Layered with the freshest ingredients and bursting with a symphony of flavours, it leaves you craving more. The soup is yet another standout dish. Rich, warming and wonderfully balanced, it's the kind of comfort food that soothes your soul on a chilly day. The chefs at Bridgeview Station Restaurant have truly mastered the art of crafting a memorable soup, and it's a must-try on every visit. As for beverages, the lager is light, refreshing, and the perfect companion to the delightful dishes. It's the kind of beer that you can savour on a sunny day on the patio, enjoying the beautiful views as you sip. What makes this restaurant even more special for me, is the memories it has helped create. My mother and I have been frequent patrons, and each visit to Bridgeview Station Restaurant is a cherished experience. From the warm welcome we receive, to the last satisfying bite, it's a restaurant that has earned a special place in our hearts. The ambience, the views, the friendly staff, the impeccable service, and most importantly, the exquisite food - all come together to create a dining experience that's truly unparalleled. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Bridgeview Station Restaurant is a destination not to be missed. In conclusion, if you're looking for a restaurant that combines an inviting atmosphere with delicious food and drink, then Bridgeview Station Restaurant should be your top choice. From personal experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant - it's a culinary journey that you won't regret embarking on.

Mid-week lunch. Restaurant and outsideseating area was fairlybusy. After seating it took around 20minutes to have our order taken. This was followed by a long wait before we actually received our meal. The fish platter was rather underwhelming in both taste, quantity and presentation. The flat iron steak baguette was disappointing. The steak was slightly under cooked, fatty, and tough to cut - no steak knives available. The chips had been replaced by fried potato chunks. After finishing our mains our empty plates remained before us for a long time, even after we had attracted the attention of a server that we were finished. Coffee ordered, coffee did not come. We ended up chasing it up at the counter, where there was piles of dirty crockery waiting ... the excuse for the delay in our receiving our coffee. This was indeed a lunch to forget. We will not be returning.

It was opened originally as a takeaway café,inside the railway carriage,as a reminder of the railway station of Magdalen Green, on the Dundee to Perth line. The station was demolished during Beeching's cuts! Then the permanent restaurant structure was built & became a very popular venue, serving high class meals,in a comfortable interior,on Riverside Drive,or the "Coup." This is in close proximity to the replacement bridge, after the original one collapsed during a violent storm in the 1890's! 79 people lost their lives as a result.

If you are wearing a hijab or scarf on your head please do not go here. My mum and myself went to this place today after we seen 4 tables were vacant with no reservations signs on them. We went and the first young lady who welcomed us was very nice. We asked if she had a table of 4 available she looked at her tablet and said I’ll just ask my colleague who she went to ask and without looking at the tablet just took one look at us and said no. She made sure we felt not welcomed and horrible. At first I ignored it thinking it was my imagination or maybe reading into too far but when my mum said the same thing as we left and seeing how upset she was I decided to phone and complain. The person on the phone didn’t seem to care and have an attitude . Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Please do not think you can scare me by saying you will take further measures. Do what you need to do. Im sure your establishment has CCTV and will prove what I said. If I was looking to just bash your business “just because I felt like it” then I wouldn’t have mentioned that the first person who spoke to us was very nice. You can’t insult my intelligence or actually gaslight me into believing that what I felt was nothing and how yourself or who ever that woman was didn’t make us feel a certain way. I understand that not everyone likes everybody but that’s your right no one can force you but please just put up a sign that certain people or actually dress codes are not allowed in , it will save us both the embarrassment just like how we were yesterday and how you are feeling probably now.

Do...

I've been to this restaurant 4 times in about 8 months. The food is very good and reasonably priced. However, they lose marks because of their staff. I've been once for dinner, once for a late weekday lunch, and twice for weekend lunch. Twice busy, twice not. On each occasion, we have not been greeted upon entry. The service has always been very slow (even when there was only one other table), and the same guy has served me 3 times. Every time, he has brought the wrong drinks order. The first time, my friend ordered an IPA. He brought him an orange-infused stout and walked off before we could say anything. When we managed to flag him down, he said they had run out of the IPA. When we asked why he didn't ask what we wanted instead, he shrugged. He then tried to convince my friend to drink the stout since the bottle was already open. We were still charged for it, even though he didn't drink it. The same guy was still messing up simple drinks orders 6 months later! Basically, if you're willing to put up with slow service and inept staff that aren't welcoming, the view and food were very good and reasonably priced for the quality. I'll definitely go again, but only when I've got 2 hours free and am in the right frame of mind to put up with...
