Tay Bridge Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

When we walked in, I felt the place had a really good vibe about it. It was so busy that we struggled to find a space to stand on a Saturday afternoon. Drinks reasonably priced, people friendly. However, some of the bar staff seemed rude. I asked for some drinks to then be rudely informed they were serving someone else. I apologised as I did not realise, but my apology was not acknowledged. Long standing bar in Dundee's Perth Road. Plenty of character and history. Lots of memorabilia portrayed on its walls, particularly relating to the Tay Railway Bridge from which the Bar derives its name. Decent pint at a reasonable price. Always my first stop on a trip down the perth road! Great pint of Tennant's from here but have a decent selection of beers also. A few fancy gins too but couldn't elaborate on that.

Also plenty TVs for the sports but could do with upgrading a few. One thing I dislike are the chairs that surround the bar so you sometimes have to shout your order or lean a fair way when it's busy but all round great...
