Went through the drive thru for what I thought would be a "quick dinner" for myself. Took my order fine then asked me to take a parking space - fine. After 20 mins an employee (girl) comes out with 3 bags - turns out those were for the car who was infront of me (rightly so) then she goes to the car who was behide me in the drive thru then she disappears back in the shop. So I decide to go in the shop to ask where my order was. I can only describe what I seen as a very poor managed shop yet didn't seem to have "loads of orders" that would suggest they were busy. After 5 mins the girl asks what I want - I ask where my order is and explain I have sat outside for nearly half hour, the people who were behide me in the drive thru got there order so where was mine ?? She then goes to her manager, who at this point is drawing me daggers instead of dealing with the issue. Another employee is about to leave with yet another cars order who had came through the drive thru after me!! He then took over... asking my reg plate. guess what my order receipt was taped to an empty bag - my burger had been lying for god knows how long - they threw my order into a bag for the man to rudely give me my order telling me there's no need to be rude!! Firstly I was never rude to begin with until they got the hump for me asking where my order was!! The employee was clearly looking for an argument showed zero customer skills. I explained that I had two kids in my car who were needing to get home now - he had the cheek to tell me that's not their problem!!! No one said it was but to be sat with 2 kids in a car for nearly half hour while they gave everyone else there orders is a JOKE. Also he told me they were busy!! Absolutely bullSh*it, there was hardly any orders in and what orders they had they had fell back on because they clearly aren't running the shop how it should be - but this isn't my problem just like my issue wasn't there problem!! The guy agreed he would feel the same if he was the one waiting on his meal!! Yet apparently I shouldn't be upset for waiting 30 mins on ONE meal!!!. The guy clearly was looking for arguments poor show for burger king! He then bitch3d about me to another car of customers!! The food was luke warm. I should of got McDonald's the same as my kids I would of been quicker!! Baring in mind the mcdonalds down the road was busier yet quicker. I would avoid this place no unless you want your dinner hours later stone cold! Won't be back to this poor show of a place!!. I wasn't the only one complaining tonight!! Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisted a few nights ago. Wasn't many customers sitting in but seems to be very busy with deliveries with numerous Just-Eat/Uber Eats drivers coming and going. My pet hate about this branch "not sure if others are the same" is they really want you to use the touch screens to order rather than a till. The touch screens are sluggish and if you want to use your Burger King app then it just adds to the time it takes to ordering and you would have been 10x quicker going to a till. Mobile signal seems to slow the app down and you need to connect to WiFi again more time needed. It was quiet when we visited and unlike other fast food restaurants "mcds" you don't get the annoying beep beep beep noise from the cookers etc in the back of the shop.
Experience would have been a lot better if ordering with the touchscreens was made simplier and quicker.
I feel parking at this restuarant could be a problem if the place was a little busier especially with delivery drivers taking spaces all the time.
Couple of electric car chargers which is nice if you have an electric car and want to charge it while you charge yourself but like everywhere else they aren't cheap and if you have a home charger I would highly recommend trying to get back to that to save yourself money.
Exiting/Entrance to Burger King is easy enough unless you are turning right coming out of Burger King wanting to go to Wishaw as you can be waiting a while due to the busy road. Stood inside and waiting 15-20 minutes for a small made order, simple and straight forward. Most of the staff were floating around staring at nothing with 1 woman standing actually working. The just eat machine was ringing and ringing with orders, more and more people coming in and I could see the order I placed sat waiting to be bagged for the 15 minutes I stood also being asked 3/4 times Iād been served by the same woman, in which I told her my order number and she walked away.
One woman in particular was very rude to a man. He had made a mistake when ordering tried to get the womanās attention by shouting for help. He then said what had happened and she in turn said āThatās tough, Iāve made your order youāre just gonna have to take it itās waste.ā This man had been nothing but nice and sorry when he was saying to this woman about his concern.
