Burger King — Restaurant in Scotland

Entered at peak times, roughly 1:15pm, and immediately had a negative experience directly from Maria, the assumed manager.

There have been other reviews on this establishment from people with the same problems, rudeness, lack of respect, and absolute below par customer service skills.

Maria made it blatant from her backhanded comment of “I wish they would bloody use the kiosk” that was directed at another member of staff, but made deliberately and intentionally loud enough for everyone to hear, that she had no intention of being helpful or giving support to unsure customers.

Myself, and another customer were waiting for service for 10 minutes before maria stated aggressively “Go use the kiosk” even though I couldn’t, since the blue light card i was looking to use wasn’t accepted at the kiosk.

I would like to note that the other individual who Maria had a complete lack of kindness, respect and compassion towards was disabled, and just wanted to put an order in.

I cannot believe after the last review i saw six days ago, that behaviours of poor management, poor customer service, and just rudeness are allowed to continue.

The atmosphere was low because of the awkwardness caused by her antics, and the food was alright.

Sad how downhill this place has gone, recently one of my work colleagues said that she had eaten there and that it was terrible and made her feel sick, but a couple weeks later I thought I"ll give it the benefit of the doubt and had a burger and chips. Have to say that the burger was pretty much stone cold and the taste was just odd, I remember loving it there in the past because the food was always really hot and tasty. One of my friends also said to me today that she had a meal there yesterday and that it made her feel really dodgy after. I'm honestly not one to complain but i feel that myself and others I know have had such bad experiences lately that there's got to be something up. Feels like the staff there just can't be bothered at all either maybe this has something to do with it, they just seem like they have no idea what they are doing not very welcoming, just feels like there is something really unhygienic about the whole place it has really put me off! Really looking forward to a vegan burger and fries here having never had a bad Burger King vegan burger - they're always delicious and taste like real food as opposed to competitors. So we pulled into the drive thru, and saw the menu has ZERO mention of vegan burger options (Vegan Whopper, Vegan Royale and Vegan Katsu burger currently offered everywhere else??). Fail no 1. Then we ask and only the Vegan Royale is available here. Disappointing. Get the Vegan Royal. I've never eaten such a disappointing bland waste of carbs and calories in my life. In fact it went uneaten and went in a bin. Absolute rubbish Burger King! Your vegan options are amazing, why are you allowing this location to fail so badly? The patty was bland and tasteless, the burger bun was tiny and floppy, the lettuce was limp and non-existent and the taste was ABSENT!
