Tucked away on Henderson Road, Café V8 is a right gem in Inverness. As I rocked up, I half-expected to get my motor serviced alongside my morning roll. The place has the vibe of a mechanic's garage, and I wondered if I'd be dining next to a greasy engine.
Stepping inside, the smell of sizzling bacon hit me like a well-aimed slap. The menu is chock-full of Scottish favourites, from hearty breakfasts to meat pies and fish suppers. Feeling peckish, I went for the V8 Mega Breakfast—a name that suggested I'd need a lie down afterwards.
When the plate arrived, I thought they'd served me a meal fit for a Highland giant. The sheer amount of scran was both impressive and a wee bit daunting. As I tackled the mountain of beans, eggs, sausages, and black pudding, I felt like I was in an eating competition.
By the time I admitted defeat, I was convinced that Café V8 is where appetites go to be truly challenged. If you're in Inverness and looking for a meal that will leave you both satisfied and with a story to tell, this is the spot. Just be sure to bring your hunger—and maybe some stretchy trousers.
In summary, Café V8 offers generous portions of classic Scottish fare in a unique, automotive-themed setting. It's a must-visit for those seeking hearty meals and a memorable...

After 10mins I decided to give up, as I was expending more energy that I was gaining attempting to eat this "meal".
I politely raised the issue with the waitress who didn't seem at all bothered by my complaint and her comment was "tuff was it". Although I didn't charge me for my cup of tea.
So to sum up, a truly appalling "meal" and terrible totaly uncaring service.
My recommendation, avoid this cafe and take your customer somewhere that has some level of care for...
