Closed at 4:30pm on Monday May 30 and at 12:00pm on Wednesday June 1. No updated hour on Google map or its own website. No notice placed on the door. Simply closed during supposed business hours. On June 1 between 12:00 and 12:05pm, I’ve witnessed four groups of people pull up, try to look through the window of this place with frustration. This cafe is about 40-60 minutes drive from major sights and hiking trails on this island that’s extremely deprived of good coffee options so I’d assume lots of people drive out specifically for the coffee. This business doesn’t care about wasting potential customers’ time....

Lovely little independent coffee shop, giving nearby Talisker's 'Three Chimneys' some competition.

I had a cappuccino and one of their home made yoghurt topped raspberry flapjacks. The cappuccino was smooth and was presented with a loveheart design on top. The cake was moist and very tasty.

The service was fantastic with the coffee being serviced with a smile, I however gave the atmosphere 4/5 as I'd have like chairs outside as the sun was out. Top tip though, there is a bench just behind the coffee shop (exit going right and right again) which faced onto the loch, which is a great place to have a...

AWFUL! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! MY HOT CHOCOLATE WAS DELICIOUS HOWEVER THERE WAS ONLY ABOUT 40ML OF HOT CHOCOLATE IN THERE! I questioned further and the reasoning of a 2 pound 50 40ml hot chocolate was that the ingredients were from exotic places and very 'organic'. Sounded fraudulent to me, and they refused to give further details. I'd love to see the expensive hot water shipped specially from Fiji. Stunningly disappointing and I was left with a thirsty palate and unsatisfied with this poor tiny miniscule uncolossal smol excuse for a hot chocolate. Caramel flavour was...

Solid coffee pitstop with nature on the doorstep. Shame they don’t have filter yet the flat white had a pleasant sour taste.

What a find! We knew there was this wee cafe before we came to the area but it has exceeded expectations. Perfect Flat White that is better than many many cafes in Edin/Glas, great cakes and pastries too. There's no sitting room (except on the grass...in the beautiful sunshine ;) but It's kinda good they don't have to clear tables and can just focus on amazing beverages and small selection of cakes/bakes. Leave a decent tip as they're lovely people!
