Very happy to see healthy options on the menu. I was spoilt for choice and in the end I had an open sandwich of delicious sourdough bread topped with olive tapenade avocado and salad leaves. I finished off with a tea with a really tasty cake. I believe it was freshly baked that day. I loved the teapot and crockery. I personally believe these touches give character to a coffee shop and enhance the experience. The staff were welcoming and overall the visit was very enjoyable. I highly recommend a visit to Coffee End.

Well what can I say, we visited here for breakfast after staying overnight in Hawick. Quaint little place, WAS NOT disappointed. Food was impeccable. We had pancakes with bacon, son had berries and yoghurt and my wife had the cinnamon and apple porridge. Quick service, very well cooked food, bacon cooked to perfection! As a tourist I am jealous that Hawick residents have this outlet n their doorstep. Fantastic place!

First visit today. Had a roll with bacon and egg. It was in a brown bag and the grease had saturated the bag so much it would have fallen out the bottom if held upright.the roll itself was swimming in grease, still dripping off when trying to eat it. On the plus side, plenty bacon and egg but grease spoiled the brioche bun. Tasted nice enough but at nearly £9 for a roll and a coffee, it was an expensive experiment

Possibly one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. Clearly store bought sweet waffles heated up and then served with bacon that was barely cooked with big bits of floppy white fat on it. Flat white which was a latte with frothy milk like you get on an instant coffee sachet. Pancakes were limp and undercooked and also served with undercooked bacon. Given a glare by the rude woman behind the counter when she asked why I didn’t eat the waffles and I said the bacon was undercooked - it’s not my fault your food is terrible and you are charging £7.50 for a packaged waffle. £24 lighter and still...

From the moment I walked into Coffee End I knew I had come to a special place. The cozy atmosphere, subtle lighting and the smell of freshly brewed coffee immediately charmed me. The service was extremely nice and competent, and was happy to advise me in choosing the perfect coffee. I tried their cappuccino, which was perfectly balanced, and I chose a piece of homemade chocolate cake - heavenly! An ideal place for both a quick coffee and longer meetings with friends. I will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who appreciates good coffee and a friendly...
