Corrigan's in a pub in Wishaw town centre. I visited on a Saturday evening with my mum and her partner. You walk through the relatively busy bar to the eating area which is a mix of fixed booth seats and moveable chairs. The furniture is dark mahogany coloured, so has quite an old fashioned, basic feel (pub grub on a bare table, no fancy table cloths or napkins here). Condiments come on sachets. Its not somewhere I'd have chosen for a Saturday night meal but my mum and her partner love the dinner deal: 2 steak dinners and a bottle of wine for £20. The wine was Blossom Hill. The steaks were done to order and served with chips, peas and onion rings. They said their meals were lovely. I asked the waitress what I could have as a vegan. She helpfully came back after speaking to the chef, armed with special dietary information sheets. We worked out I could have pasta with arriabata sauce, chips and/rice with curry sauce, or a baked potato with beans/salad. Not a great choice for vegans, but at least they had something. There's macaroni and cheese if you're a vegetarian. There was a choice of desserts but we didn't have any (no began options for me anyway). All in all, solid, traditional pub grub. Bargain deal on 2 hearty steak dinners with wine. If that's your thing, it's a good enough place to go, just wasn't great for me. Waiting staff quick and efficient.

Great food, ample portions and cheap as chips! That goes for drinks too! £5.20 for a pint of guiness and a pint of strongbow dark fruits!!!!! Recommend the steak pie, proper chunks of beef, no fat! Interior could do with an overhaul tho, very worn and dated but if it keeps the food and drink costs down, then it's not significant. Going back soon for a c2 course steak dinner deal on Groupon! Can't wait!!!! Been back since, everytime food is excellent .steak was cooked to perfection one of the best steaks I've had and I've had a lot! Can't wait to go back Yum yum 😋

Visited with my wife, son and grandson. We went there on the recommendation of my brother in law and we were not disappointed. We purchased a Groupon voucher online , 3 course meal for 4 people £27.99 . There was a slightly restricted menu because of the Groupon deal but honestly the food was brilliant. The lady serving us could not have been nicer . Also the drink prices were very reasonable. Starters which we had , 3 garlic mushrooms / 1 soup , were first class . The mains , 2 x fish and chips , 1 steak pie and 1 macaroni cheese , were really good . The sweets , 3 toffee caramel and ice cream were great , my wife couldn't manage a third course . I was really impressed with the standard of the food considering what we paid for the voucher. Staff were lovely , food was excellent , all in all a great afternoon . The decor may be needing spruced up in certain areas but I wouldn't take any marks off for that . We were there for a meal not to look at wallpaper ....
