Getting more bemused with the food here. To be honest the only decent food is eggs benedict. The last twice my food has been awful. I had a burger that was literally burnt to a crisp on one occasion. The place was so busy that I couldn't find anyone to complain to as there were not enough staff on! I pointed it out to a member of staff rushing past as we left. Second time the chips tasted reheated so I took them back and was given another plate equally as bad. Their curry nights used to be good but you hardly get any chicken. The worst thing they did was take off the Sunday roast that was lovely and we went often. There is never enough staff on and they need a better queuing system. My husband has asked a couple of times if you need to be female to get served! Pretty dire place at times which is sad as we don't have many nice places in...

The Wishaw Malt, part of the JD Wetherspoon chain, is a cozy and welcoming pub located in Wishaw. Known for its affordable prices and extensive menu, it offers a great selection of pub classics, daily specials, and a wide range of drinks, including real ales and ciders. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. The staff are generally friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While the decor is typical of a Wetherspoon pub functional and no frills, it’s clean and well maintained. The Wishaw Malt is a solid choice for a budget friendly meal or a casual drink with friends. Ideal for those looking for good value without...

The place looks okay at first, but when you sit down there is a horrible smell. Mix between mould and old body odours. The place needs better ventilation and a proper clean, including carpets! But the worst thing is that we felt like sitting in a nursery. Half the tables had nothing but small kids sitting there, jumping off of chairs, screaming and fighting and partly no parents in sight (most of the constantly outside smoking). The food was rather mediocre, the chips tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in ages and the cutlery had a weird smell to it. Puts you off really, couldn’t enjoy our meal at all. One good point. Is the staff though, very friendly and clearly doing their best to manage...

The fish was overcooked that much it just broke into pieces, so greasy, before the staff brought me over an extra portion of chips I paid for the large fish and I was given 7 chips with it 😂 my son ordered the same and had a good portion not good hardly any mushy pees. I asked for been with my sons fish and they gave him gardens pees you wonder if they can read the slip that is given to the kitchen when it’s ordered online team leaders attitude was stinkin at first she also did not care what I was given from the kitchen. Fish and pees were not warm. I think the establishment needs to pay for a chef that knows what they are doing. At least they got our juices correct.

Been here lots of times in the past but usually go when I just want a quick bite. My partner and I really enjoyed it today and thought the food was a better standard than normal. Very tasty!!! We sat outside in the beer garden which was lovely on this sunny and warm day and a great quiet atmosphere surrounded with flowers. The staff are welcoming and helpful and service good also. Lovely clean toilets which is always a plus.

Ordered a spicy meat feast pizza and all I can say is it was horrible, could make a better pizza at home with a wrap as the base. Marked as 3 🌶 couldn't even say it was 1 😅 all 3 of the kids pizza looked worse than a frozen one from aldi for 40p, I personally don't recommend the food from here at all, lack of cheese, dough, sauce and barely any toppings
