I don’t normally leave a comment about a place but felt I should have. I don’t go to this Costa Coffee often but went to see a friend for coffee due to it being a lovely day. This visit was on 23 August 2021 at 11:23 am.

Good and quick service. Iced mocha was average but needs to have more coffee in it as I could barely taste it in the drink. Track and trace id numbers not very clear.

However this is where your company comes up short is I wasn’t able to use the toilet due to a man who was not in a Costa Coffee uniform being in the ladies toilet possibility doing maintenance who said something to me which I could not understand due not being able to hear what he said due his mumbling. I wouldn’t have been in had I known work or something was going on I hadn’t have gone in.

Put a sign up on toilets to say that you are doing maintenance or out of order due work being done to toilets, this would save the awkwardness of your man and customers. Put track and trace id numbers outside before entering and encourage staff to show customers where the id numbers are inside. Maybe even use bright font colours for your id numbers, laminate the sheets of paper then blu tack the laminated sheets with the id numbers to your table.

This would help everyone with track and trace id number being clear and visible to all...

As I entered the coffee shop was really cold, not inviting me to stay and have another coffee. I ordered 2 maple hazel hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. 1 was asked to be in a takeaway cup. The sever went straight to making it but due to staff issues by the looks of it the 2 other groups of customers waiting to be served just looked on as out order was made. I watched the server make the drinks and both ended up in a glass, also the cream was very runny as I noticed it wasn't stored in the fridge. Nor did she mix the drink up so all the syrup was sitting in the bottom. In fact she even told me to stir it as it was all in the bottom. Surely this should arrive already mixed. You get better service from a vending machine. Also the marshmallows were non existent. I feel I could have got the same service from a supermarket cafe with a barista bar, not the level of service and standards I expect from a Costa. Also this is not the first time I have been let down by this branch, there is no consistency at all here. And it looked as if the sever couldn't care less, the staff definitely need a lot more training on standards and service and need a bit more enthusiasm about them. It was a...

Have visited this particular drive through often as I visit my daughter once a week. Unfortunately every time we go, it takes so long for the drinks to be made. Today we arrived, gave our order. As we pulled up to the window the staff member didn't acknowledge we were there for a few minutes as she was talking to a colleague (not about anything work related) she then made our drinks and gave them to us. We waited for a bit before I had to ask her for our cakes that we had also ordered. Every time we have been here we are waiting at the drive through window for up to 10 minutes. It was not busy at the time we went, through the window hatch we could see the mess of where our drinks were being prepared. Unfortunately and as per usual when we did get our coffees they weren't hot like you'd expect but more of an above average like warm. Usually love going to Costa, however this is by far the least appealing, slowest and unfriendliest Costa i...

Unfortunately everytime I visit this particular Costa there's always something to grumble about. It ranges from them not knowing how to take payment using a gift voucher which has happened twice now, not giving a receipt when asked multiple times & either been ignored or been acknowledged & not given anyway. I bought cauliflower cheese soup that was cold. Not luke warm, cold. I saw the chap put it in the microwave but it obviously wasn't in long enough. I had taken the food to go to eat in the car so I could have gone back in as it was consumed in their carpark but I didn't want to have to stand in a queue again. I had to ask for the chocolates to go with the choc orange & after 8 hot chocolate. Not exactly the end of the world but still!

Ordered a latte to take away. Had a reward to be used. The boy at the window didn’t make eye contact or acknowledge me, ignored me when I said there is a reward I want to use when scanning the barcode, he was busy talking on his head set. He said nothing to me. Very poor customer service and didn’t use the reward. I get my latte and there isn’t even any froth, half full. It was already a small and cost £4.30. What a joke. See photos. Poor customer service, poor quality of product for an already over priced coffee.
