Lovely place to stop for a snack or a meal. Good choice and variety on the menu, plus prices are very reasonable.

Friendly warm welcome on arrival for an evening meal. Service from our waitress was great with reccomendations off the menu, which we took on board. Food was exceptional, fresh and tasty with a generous portion size! We took advantage of the set menu which had options of 2 or 3 courses. And a added extra just now, there is currently 20% off all food until 25 May 2024 (between 5pm to 8pm Thurs to Saturday.) We have previously visited the bistro for lunch too which I would advise to book in advance, to prevent dissapointment. As all tables were full and I noticed walk in customers having to go elsewhere. Also, there is option to eat outside in the summer months. Lastly, there is ample parking available with disabled priority spaces directly behind the building.

All in a great family run business with high standard chefs that produce freshly made food! I guarantee you will not be disapointed...

The wee breakfast would have been good but I was disappointed they did not offer me an alternative to the egg when I told them I don't like eggs. Every other cafe I have been to offers an alternative in place of the egg. If it hadn't been for that the food would have been good. Service was okay and perhaps they thought I wanted peace but again most places would check everything was alright and to clear away plates when finished. Access to the restaurant was down some stairs so not sure how suitable it would be for wheelchair access. There is parking nearby. The restaurant was busy when I was there so clearly it is popular. Toilets were clean and in general the restaurant seemed clean with a nice atmosphere. I just can't understand the poor service and lack of alternatives to the eggs on the breakfast menu. Bizarre when there is so much...

A very lacklustre performance today. Such a shame as I had previously had very good experiences in here. Unfortunate to say I won’t be back. Not the warmest welcome at the door however was willing to see by that. Was eventually sat down only to be given menus 10 mins later. I ordered the special wrap which was extortionate (£13.95). I wish I took a picture as the plate itself was just pathetic. A wrap which wouldn’t even suffice a 5 year old, a stingy portion of chips, and the saddest looking salad I’ve ever seen. Additionally I never received my soup either, in which I had to say about having taken off the bill. No napkins, no spoons for our soup, coffee sitting there and nobody to bring it over. The place was just in such disarray. Lastly to conclude not even a...
