Divitos Fish & Chips Burnbank — Restaurant in Scotland

Ordered food around 10pm, was due to be delivered at 11.20 - phoned the shop to discover where our food was only to be told the driver had been at our house twice, no answer, the driver returned to the shop and our food was now in the bin and they were closed.....gobsmacked!! Me and my partner were both well aware we had ordered food and were waiting for the delivery! And I asked why the driver didn’t call us on our contact numbers, to be told drivers don’t contact customers, clearly the shop didn’t either as they didn’t phone to tell us the food had been returned to the shop!!!! The shop then phoned back around 5min or so, to be told the manager apologises and our food is being remade and will be delivered by staff on their way home. Food arrives, driver doesn’t have change on him To give my partner, (poor driver, wasnt his fault!) the pizza is cold, the garlic mayo dip has turned as it’s been under the heat too long (but remember our food had been freshly cooked, it’s definitely not sat under the heat lamps for too long!!) the chips are cold and soggy.

Then we receive a phone call from just eat to discover the shop had actually cancelled our ordered and he was phoning to find out what was going on! Filled in this gentleman about what had happened and he informed us he shall be contacting the manager to have a conversation with him! We order often from here and this is not the first time there have been problems.

Very disappointing!! Sometimes companies need reminding, if it wasn’t for their customers paying with their hard earned cash, they wouldn’t have a company and their staff wouldn’t receive a wage!! Lies, lack of customer service and bad attitude results in no company and no...

Placed an order as always on Friday night, regular customer for years. Order came, tray of kebab meat was fine, usually always great, large doner kebab was all dried up small pieces and the pitta bread was abs solid, both unedible. Phoned up and the girls attitude was worse than the kebab. She asked me to wrap it up and it would get picked up, waited and waited, nothing!! Called at 9.35 she said we’ve been busy, still no apology. She could still get it picked up I said I wasn’t waiting any longer. She kept saying it wasn’t possible, it is if it’s lying at the bottom of the metal container and they use the fresh first, yes it’s possible, she was sooo cheeky and arrogant. In this day and age there is lots of competition and being honest their reviews are pretty mixed. Maybe work on your girls attitude answering the phone. Never had this before, but sorry I have a chip shop nearer to me. They have my address if they want to...

They delivered the order completely wrong when given the opportunity to fix it they became abusive and mocking about money. The portions in the place are getting less the quality is going down hill and now they are just outright abusive on the phone. Marinis in the Burnbank corridor is a far superior chip shop not only in quality but quantity and price. Give Divitos a wide berth and bin the menu. One year later gave them another shot they have managed to get even worse. Asked for baked potato with tuna mayonnaise and lasagne with garlic bread when got it garlic bread was burned the spoonful of tuna had no mayonnaise there was no salad and there was no lasagne when I returned for a refund confrontational woman on counter barked I have ate some of this lol.
