Never expected to find a place like “Dough” on our way home to Glasgow from the Isle of Arran. The combination of traditional Italian and American pies with added pies featuring Moroccan, Indian and French flavors, influences and ingredients was outstanding! The Carbonara pie with béchamel topping was creamy and delicious with both a soft and crispy crust. More pancetta, please! And the Moroccan spiced lamb pie was a zesty affair with popping pomegranates, spinach, and yogurt and mayo dressing. The addition of a delicious macaroni and cheese and sweet potato fries impressed our discerning five-year-old diner as well as his cookbook author mother. I congratulated the staff and the busy Italian owner on a fantastic and delicious restaurant concept. Well...

The best pizza place in south ayrshire or even all of Ayrshire.

Dough has never disappointed me in the quality of their pizzas or the taste 😋 paired with the amazing chips this is a must try for anyone who is in Troon

Now I will praise the food even more. The pizza is freshly made in a stone oven to give it an authentic taste. The creative and new pizza topping cobonations make Dough stand out for the average pizza place. The chips don't need to be that good for a pizza place but the guys over at Dough went above and beyond in making some of the most yummy chips EVER (the experience is even better if you get the cajun chips and dip them in the garlic alioli)

Dough is a...

Annoyed I didn’t take a picture of the pizza, because what a gem of a place this is!

Pictured is the peri peri fries, now if you are coming here, get them. Triple cooked chips with straggly bits of crispy goodness, these were unbelievably tasty, especially when fresh.

The choice of pizza toppings were varied and fun, the Scotsman I got hit the spot, goats cheese and black pudding keemon.

Didn’t meet the staff or go inside but we were able to phone in the pizza and they accommodated us being slightly late, so props for the great service.

Highly recommend! Especially if you’ve just come back from Arran. Thanks so much for the...

Seen this place as we're staying in the area for a few days. Loved it, Cajun chunky fries were delicious & cooked to perfection, big portion too. My pepperoni pizza with the veg was exactly what I was in the mood for. My man had the BBQ & wolfed it down, pretty much to himself. Nice of them to let us sit in although it's not really a restaurant, more a takeaway/delivery place. Benches outside too for the warmer weather. The man who delivered our food & checked on us was very kind. Would definitely recommend or go back if we're in the area.
