Has to be the cleanest fish and chip shop, let alone take away ive ever been inside of in all 25 years of not being able to cook lmao. Banff has a lot of good takeaways and we have tried most of them. We decided to go for Freddies tonight and we were extremely impressed.

Two portions of fish per supper, well cooked with crispy batter and very tasty fish, combined with a generous portion of tasty well cooked chips.

On going to pick them up we discovered they were on special offer at a reduced price.

Absolutely delicious! The batter was not only tasty but wonderfully crispy without being greasy. The chips were simply lovely, and the portions were unbelievably huge. We traveled all the way from East Lothian to spend a night in Banff, and thanks to glowing reviews, we stumbled upon this gem.
