Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

Pies and their choice as in every Greggs. I have been there today 10.08.25 around 12:30 and immediately after packing few bakes into the bag and paying for them I went back into the car and could smell the strong odour of smoke on my hands. I haven't touched any handles or things in the shop, neither shook my hand with anybody inside. It was just the bags smelling strongly with smoking smell. Might assume a worked went for a fag and didn't wash the hands so just wanted to give it a shout - for health and safety reasons and I swear anything like that hasn't happened to me before. I don't smoke myself so could feel this immediately after...

So great food etc as you would expect from Greggs, but was a little bit miffed that the queue was out the door, two members of staff appears to be messing around putting juice into the chiller that by the looks of it was already rammed full. Another memember was at the back behind of tills looking at paperwork, while the oldest staff member was the only one serving. You could tell she was knackered. Felt kinda bad her her...

My friendly local Greggs, with everything you would expect from the bakers. Tasty pies, legendary steak bakes, sausage rolls (both meat and vegan) and lots of other sweet treats to tempt you. A great selection of filled baguettes, rolls and sandwiches to suit your taste and preferences. Service can be a little slow during busy times, and there will often be a queue extending out the door around breakfast...
