Gulnar Tandoori — Restaurant in Scotland

I was in tonight for a meal tonight with grandparents, after enjoying takeaways and recommendations from family/friend. I am not impressed, one girl seem to have a rough idea of correct service. First off no checks at any point at our food was ok and had to wait over 20 minutes for staters despite restaurant been on the quieter side. Stater were ok, but one of the stater the chicken pura had a burnt taste, as if spicy had been burnt during the cooking process.

My main came which again was ok, half way through I found a short black curly hair (I am a red head), meal taken away, sorry what like anything else, as I find this poor hygiene in a kitchen working in the industry I couldn’t, as felt sicken by it. No offer of a dessert or queried further, once bill came full charge for everything.

At this point I was angry and the manger attitude was so dreadful when I asked why been charged , as he back away showing no interest.

I am a restaurant manager working in bothwell, I am shock at this treatment in current tough time for the industry and will not return, will be advising family/friends to stay clear of giving business to a establishment like this, as just paid over 80 for a meal I half eat and...

Pizza arrived as if the delivery person had dropped it, she actually slipped it out her hand on arrival and said ooh it’s heavy 🤷‍♀️ then we opened up the pizza it was a disgrace most of the topping was lying on one side of the pizza box with some slices just bare ( photos to prove)the vegetable parkora ooft dry, over cooked, tasteless, with a onion end wedge plus all the sauces were upside down. Absolutely shocking and disgusted. Phoned Gulnar straight away explained about the pizza yes they would send another one out and pick up the de-constructed pizza 🤦‍♀️ pakora went in the bin. The only reason my son got a takeaway out of here was because I was going to treat us to a meal at the restaurant and looked up the reviews yes good and bad gave the place the benefit of doubt so decided to try the takeaway first. Big mistake! Second delivery of pizza arrived and the courier explained that their delivery bags are not strong enough on the bottom and quite flimsy to carry the weight of the orders you order why cut corners on the essential tools to deliver so you get...

Visited for dinner tonight as my husband and daughter really wanted a buffet. As I'm vegan I asked if there were any buffet options for me. The manager came to the table and explained what I could eat and offered to add extra bits from the menu free of charge if I wanted them. We were advised that the buffet would be a few minutes but we were quickly updated that food was ready. The salad bar was fully stocked with everything fresh. The starters were piping hot and absolutely delicious. Once we were finished dirty plates were promptly removed. We headed back for main course and again everything was piping hot. Fresh Naan was brought to the table along with chapati for me. I was asked if I would like any vegetable dishes from the kitchen but as I was more than happy with the buffet I didn't take anything else. Staff were attentive throughout the meal removing dirty plates, glasses etc immediately. The meal was finished with dessert for my husband and a lovely black coffee for me.
