Great experience but poor administration. I took my two teenage grandchildren here last week and they thoroughly enjoyed it. However, it wasn't until i got home and received the email with their results that I realised they should have had two sessions, not just one. When i sent an email to head office they said we should have known to wait for a second session, but a member of staff told the kids where to put their suits and helmets instead of telling us to wait for a second session. They refused to give a refund for the session not used. in my opinion they need to tell visitors clearly at the start that they will have a gap between the first and second session. They say the children were told during the briefing, but when they were told they had two sessions, they thought it meant one each. I am sure we are not the only people to have made this mistake, and some clear signage or clear instruction needs to be added to their protocol. Otherwise, the karting experience itself was amazing.

Came here for an 11 year old's birthday treat. All equipment provided and plenty of staff on hand for any running-into-the-wall instances! Kids had a lot of fun, and there was a lot of patience for a more anxious participant. If you or your children have sensitive ears, then you might want to wear in ear earplugs; it was quite loud on track. Quality metal medals at the end, not plastic. Many thanks for an awesome time.

Had no complaints about the visit except for the horrendous customer service from one of the employees. Purchased the 4x10 min races for a total of £190 for the 5 of us (have no complaints on the pricing it’s just worth a mention.)

In the second of the 10 min races I was placed in the #36 Kart. Once I was out and going full speed around the track it was pretty evident that the brakes were practically non-existent. Obviously due to this I was constantly going into other drivers and receiving warnings and nearly black flagged a few times, felt pretty annoyed about this once the race was over as the Karts should be in full working order especially the big price you pay to drive them. Once back in the reception area for a breather one of the female staff members made it abundantly clear with her tone that it is a no contact race and drivers should obviously avoid hitting each other. I spoke up once I realised that she was talking about me and told her the #36 Karts brakes were completely done and that was the reason I kept going into other drivers. She didn’t seem to happy about this and assured me the brakes had just been checked and tested, clearly a lie or the person checking the brakes should be sacked to be completely honest. She told me she’d check the brakes once we were going back out for our 3rd race. I kept my mouth shut after the small scalding she sent my way and was ready for the next race. True to her word she checked the Kart and for some strange reason let another customer use it for the 3rd race. The 3rd race went off perfectly fine as I was actually in a functioning Kart this time. Strange thing is once another customer made her aware of the brakes she pulled the Kart for the final race of the night. What her problem was with me I’ll never know, not sure if I have to be looking her in the eye to make sure she has my full attention like primary school. Or if it was the fact I said that the brakes were rubbish on the Kart that she assured everyone that were just tested.

Anyway, Won’t be back to the Falkirk Branch anytime in a hurry and definitely whatever you do don’t bring attention to a clear safety issue up with the staff as you might get...

I booked a karting session for my 10-year-old son and his friend at Xtreme Karting Falkirk last Wednesday at 5:00 PM. Despite leaving on time from Edinburgh, we arrived 15 minutes late due to heavy evening traffic and roadworks. When we explained the situation to the staff, they offered no solution and refused to accommodate the children, even after they had traveled a long way for this experience.

The children were incredibly excited for this session and had been looking forward to it for days. Yet, due to your rigid, inflexible, and customer-unfriendly approach, they were left completely disappointed. It is unacceptable for a business catering to children to be this inconsiderate.

When we emailed our complaint, the response we received only made matters worse. Saying that we could “rebook for the weekend if weekdays were not suitable” is nothing but a dismissive and unhelpful reply. The reason we booked a weekday session was NOT our availability—it was because all weekend slots were fully booked! We had no choice but to book a weekday session.

The time and effort we put into making our children happy, along with the £53 we paid, were completely wasted due to your unprofessional and careless attitude. My son, who was once thrilled about karting and eager to return, now never wants to come back because of this frustrating experience.

This is not just about our family—this should serve as a warning for all parents considering Xtreme Karting Falkirk. I strongly do not recommend this place. A business catering to children should prioritize customer satisfaction, yet your lack of flexibility and unwillingness to provide a reasonable solution highlight a major failure in service.

I will be escalating this matter to the relevant authorities to ensure that this kind of poor customer service is properly addressed. I sincerely hope you reflect on this incident and take steps to improve...

I had booked a karting session for my 10-year-old son and his friend at Xtreme Karting Falkirk last Wednesday at 5:00 PM. However, despite leaving on time from Edinburgh, we arrived approximately 15 minutes late due to heavy evening traffic and unexpected roadworks. Upon arrival, we explained the situation to the staff, yet no solution was offered, and the children were turned away after traveling for more than an hour.

When we raised our concern via email, the response was far from satisfactory. Stating that we could “rebook for the weekend if weekdays were not suitable” was neither helpful nor fair, especially considering that we had already paid £53. However, the reason we booked a weekday session was not our availability but the fact that all weekend slots were fully booked. We had no option but to choose a weekday.

A business catering to children should prioritize customer satisfaction and demonstrate a more flexible and empathetic approach. Denying service over a minor delay, without any alternative options, was extremely disappointing. My son, who was once thrilled about karting and even considered pursuing it further, has now completely lost interest due to this negative experience.

Our sole intention was to create a joyful experience for the children, yet the rigid policies and lack of understanding led to an unfortunate outcome. Due to this experience, I do not recommend Xtreme Karting Falkirk. I strongly urge you to reconsider your approach towards customer service to prevent similar incidents...
