Disappointed after having been recommended to try. Souvlaki wrap was mostly vegetables with a small portion of chicken in it. The chips and cheese was palatable but the dish was ruined by the takeaways decision to place the chips in to the microwave to melt the cheese, giving the chips an overly soggy texture. The saving grace of the order was the tirokafteri which tasted good but it is advertised as spicy and didn't have even a hint of heat unfortunately. It was a miss for me and wouldn't order again. Update: Changing my review from a fair and warranted 3 stars to 1 star to reflect the level of customer service after a condescending and arrogant reply from the owner in response to my fair and constructive criticism. For £5.90 i have had a mixed gyro from Mactassos which was larger, had plentiful meat and tasted far better than the souvlaki wrap i had from Gyropolis. I'm sure the chips were made fresh as you say, that was never disputed, but i watched the server place them in the microwave after the cheese was added. As for the "chilli flakes" on the tirokafteri, there was a dusting of red powder on the cheese but no chilli flakes. I stand by my original opinion that there was no heat from the dish and my taste is just fine. My 1st time ordering from Gyropolis, the delivery was late on this occasion due to high demand however received a phone call prior to apologise for this incovinence and that they were on the case to get my food delivered ASAP, good service in my opinion as not many food places would give the curtousy of a phone call and its always up to the customer to phone and chase.

When the food arrived the delivery driver knocked on the door gently and not like you were going to be raided by the police, again good service.

The food was exceptional, big potions and full of flavour, the food was still piping hot when it arrived and was definitely worth the wait.

Will most definitely be ordering from Gyropolis again and recommend...

Decided to give it a try stupid mistake ordered 2 gyro specials more soggy salad and tzatziki and a few scrapes of greasy meat food is greasy and the quality falls far below what greek food is chips taste poor quality and soggy meat is mostly fattty gristle decided to try village sausage owner refused point blank to sell it on its own had to buy 2 meals at £13 for 2 sausages and what on earth did i get check the picture out it tells no lies and it was deep fried AVOID THIS DUMP AT ALL COSTS go elswhere for greek food if you want quality and quantity cos this place in neither 👍on the pictures what i thought i was getting and what i got...
