Harbour Lights — Restaurant in Scotland

Came here with the wife for the tempura steak got in door at 5.20 pm wait about 10 min to be seen when we finally got seated and got the menu we were coming for the special so didn't bother looking at the waited long for someone to take the order (about 20 minutes) so order in asked if we would like a drink wife had glass of strongbow cider and so about 8/10 minutes the waitress brings the napkins salt and pepper and knife and fork all good thinking we would be getting something to eat soon the waitress comes back 5 minutes later and takes our knife away and says it's a tempura steak you're having and changes the knife for a steak knife finally when the meal arrives at 6.20 pm to my amazement I find the 5 Oz steak all Cut up and looking like one steak cut between the two 2.half each I feel that this has not been advertised correctly and definitely not value of the money it seems to me the staff I'm more interested the people drinking at the bar than people actually in to eat seems like very disorganised no communication actually had to ask somebody who takes your order to be told someone will be with you soon 🥴🥱 I have uploaded a picture of my plate which I just poured the peppercorn sauce on you can see how much steak is on the plate also go ask if you like another drink and my wife ask for another strongbow to be given a glass of magners Cider would not come...

We booked a table at a set time, when we arrived we got shown to our table but without a menu or a drinks order. After 5 minutes we had to ask for a menu, we got our menus and still no drinks. Eventually after 20 minutes we got them, at this point I just knew it wasn’t going to be great. We got our starters which were lovely but after a full hour of being in there our starter plates were still lying on the table. Once the lady took them away she accidentally spilt sauce all over my daughter which wasn’t a big deal but it just summed up our experience. The dinner was nice nothing to rave about and we got ignored when we asked for more drinks so had to go up to the bar myself and get them. We overheard another customer say he had asked 3 times to order food and got ignored. My daughters burger and chips from the kids menu was very dry and no cheese on the burger, we also had to ask for sauces we didn’t get offered any. Eventually we got the bill and went to pay but I could’ve easily walked out and they wouldn’t have noticed it took them 10 minutes to serve me. The food was nice but the customer service really let them down unfortunately. I can’t say...

Unfortunately money comes before customer service,I have worked in The Chevalier,Dunblane Hydro,Sorrento to name just a few and I’ve never had the experience I had in this bar.On entry I asked if a reservation was required,they stated no,I then asked to sit outside at a table as I was waiting for my kids to come down from Glas. for lunch with me.I got there at 12-15 and got a drink while waiting,kids called to say they were stuck in traffic,ordered another drink and was informed table was reserved for 1400 hrs.I said it wasn’t reserved when I came in and you don’t reserve a table when someone is at it and waiting for someone to join them.I asked for 3 menus and 3 drinks as they were trying to park and was informed that she wasn’t going to serve me,I was upset about that and said a few things out of character for me to her wherein she said I was to leave and don’t come back, and needless to say myself and all my friends that frequent their won’t be back after the way I...
