A Sweet Discovery in the Scottish Highlands – Harry Gow Bakery! As a tourist exploring the area, I'm always on the lookout for authentic local experiences, and Harry Gow Bakery was absolutely a hit! Sometimes you just stumble upon gems like this, and this bakery is one of those places you'd almost want to keep to yourself – but it's too good not to share! Even the adorable pink box with the friendly Harry Gow logo caught my eye, and when I unwrapped the goodies, I was instantly smitten. This isn't just "baked goods," this is edible art! Just look at the delights I managed to get my hands on: * The Strawberry Tart: An absolute dream! The strawberries were so fresh and plump, they looked like they'd just come from the field. The glaze on the fruit was perfect, and the taste was simply heavenly – fruity-sweet and just pure joy for the soul. A true slice of summer on a plate! * The Carrot Cake and the Elegant Slice Pastry: The carrot cake was super moist and had just the right amount of spice, and the little sugar carrot on top was utterly charming. And that white, elongated slice next to it? Divine! The filling was creamy and delicious – I'm guessing it was something fruity, perhaps raspberry, that harmonized perfectly with the delicate outer layer. So elegant and incredibly tasty! The presentation alone was a delight, and you can tell that everything here is baked with so much love and skill. This isn't mass-produced; this is genuine craftsmanship! So, if you ever find yourself in the Scottish Highlands, make sure you take a detour to Harry Gow Bakery. Whether it's for a delicious breakfast, a sweet afternoon break, or just to treat yourself or your loved ones – you won't regret it! An absolute highlight of my trip and a taste experience I won't forget. Highly recommended!

Absolutely a must-visit in the Highlands! Harry Gow in Beauly was a fantastic discovery during our Scotland trip. We stopped here to fuel up before a hike and were thrilled. I had an incredibly delicious pastry – similar to a cinnamon swirl, but with a wonderfully sticky glaze and a cherry in the middle (see photo!). It was just the thing to give us energy for our tour. You can simply taste that they bake fresh and with good ingredients here. The bakery itself has that authentic charm you wish for in a local bakery. The selection of cakes, pastries, and savory items also looked amazing – it's a shame we couldn't try everything! The staff were friendly and served us nicely. For us, it was the perfect sweet stop and made our excursion day even better. If you're in the Beauly area and fancy traditional baked goods, you should definitely not miss Harry Gow. A clear recommendation from us holidaymakers – five stars! We'd gladly come back next time we're in Scotland.

We tried something super very delicious, it was a donut with the cream. I think it's called Dream Ring, fluffy, soft donut with delicious and very tasty, light cream. It's a must to try in Scotland, very specific and flavorful! Highly recommend to every tourist !

The family from Utah here! Such a great place, we came in SO hungry not knowing what to get and everything was so well explained with great suggestions. The service was amazing and we had a great chat with the workers. Plus the food was so yummy and I scarfed down everything practically immediately and then only took a picture after i was almost finished. Honestly a must stop because it was so...
