Took a little while to find, no signage on the shop front.

Extremely disappointed with the selection or lack thereof at ~10 in the morning. The assistant was not helpful in anyway (offered cold sandwiches at 10 in the morning) and did not offer much in the way of other items to select from or offer to make anything while I waited. Very disappointing as I had seen a selection of lovely items on social media, hence the visit. I understand independent business' cannot make a large selection all the time, I just expected a little more for breakfast than cookies and brownies first thing.

EDIT:

Hi, there was nothing above the front window, it was just plain white. Yes it was yourselves as you can see from the pictures and my contactless payment went through as your business name. No hot food was offered even after asking, and I saw no savoury pastries nor was I offered any from the back if that is where you kept them (topping...

God help us if this place is a 4.9. This is Patrick now , a sign of the times. A yuppy, hipster take over . I was ranted at for asking about the price of a 2.45 espresso . ‘It’s fair trade yak yak yak..’ like I had a problem with that , I don’t. (even though fair trade it self is questionable ) then this specific young posh English girl proceeds to correct my pronouncation of Vegan (‘I think you’ll find its VEGAN’). The coffee was pretty good but I’m just not use to the gentrification and rude attitude of what was once a great part of the west end . Now a take over of hipsters and posh English students have ruined it . Hey it’s a review , I’m allowed to be honest . This is becoming a reality . So the pretentious KAF (you’ve got to laugh) hopefully will disappear as mummy and daddy’s money gets wasted on over priced coffee and VEGAN cakes. People are...

Quite a small space, coffee was nice, a bit more expensive than other places but with good reason as it's ethically sourced from some of the best roasteries around the UK, the mugs were great, the design made it easy to hold them without burning your hands, saw some others having food and the portions were huge, shame there was only 1 gluten free cake option, on the menu there was a notice to say maximum stay is an hour and a half, also a sign saying no laptops, the cafe was really clean and was a nice touch to be given water as soon as we sat down rather than having to go and ask for it, overall was a nice visit! Its a pitty this cafe is small coz they make such an awesome food and coffee. So ot has an outdoor table and 3 more inside. Coffee which was an Ethiopian coffee tasted awesome. The food was so pleasent and tasty. Chili Kaba with cheese is a must to try. Something i didnt tasted before. The eggplants Gryos was again tasty. The vegan platter also was so gd. The service was a bit slow but we were happy enjoying the sun outside and looking into the waiters making coffee and beautiful cakes on the window. I highly recomend this hidden gem for u to try. I will go back for sure.

Is it actually possible to visit Kaf purely for a coffee.....especially when you see the range of such tempting homebaking? Don't believe so and you would be so, so pleased you gave in Our concession was to share a huge slice of almond cake...with a twist! Check out the photo and the creme de la crème was the salted almond flakes adorning the top....oh my wonders....sheer lusciousness. Staff were superb and just love the atmosphere created within such a compact area. Oh and yes, the coffee was, indeed, on point too.
