I've used Kismet a few times not often maybe 3 times a year or so that we get a carry out. Their food has always been quite tasty and nice. But sadly this time I've got to be totally honest..... I ordered a 16inch ham and mushroom pizza with extra cheese. A large chicken pakora and a portion of chips, large doner kebab and finally an extortionate separate salad at £3.00. Didn't mind paying for the salad if it had at least more than two ingredients...... which were soggy iceberg lettuce and sliced white onion. The pizza was soggy and limp and really didn't taste as it should even the cheese (extra ordered and not delivered) was transparent..... yes it is practically see through. I mean ..... how does cheese end up being transparent? The chips were loverly and I maybe should've bought chips for our family once in a while treat this evening. Crispy and fluffy potato on the inside. Salad...... no further comment because I feel that this is an absolute rip off. Where do I start with the Chicken Pakora? £8 worth of dried out crispy chicken in a batter that would surely break and crack the best of turkey teeth. (No I don't have turkey teeth but had I bitten into these, I would've surely been suitable for cosmetic dentistry at their expense...... Should anyone wish to purchase some of these..... you would be well buying a chain saw to cut them) Husband loved the kebab..... after all they really couldnae get that bit wrong because it was plain pitta with doner and chilli sauce only. Thankfully they couldnt mess that one up. So anyway..... look at the photo they advertise and then what I actually got. Will never again buy food from Kismet. They're scraping the bottle of the barrel sending out absolute muck like I received this evening. Pointless ringing them..... nothing will ever get resolved so I post this in the hope someone (even if just 1 person) sees this and goes elsewhere. What an absolute change to their food..... (last order was some 10 months ago) New owners? New management? New business model? Either way their food has changed and it is not for the better.

Mixed pakora on Friday evening £6.50. Smallest portion I’ve ever had. Tiny wee bite out the chicken before I took the photo. It was a small box and the pieces were a lot smaller than they look. Batter was just about as crunchy as Blackpool rock and I’d say 50/50 chicken to batter ratio which is nonsense. Other photo is Sizzlers chicken pakora. £6.75 for 6 good sized bits about 80% meat. I’ll not be back to Kismet.

I Just placed an order to collect . The girl on the phone was lovely. I asked for 2 X chips and cheese and chicken calzone she advised a 16inch calzone . . when we picked this up and took it home to our dissapointment it was donner meat. We returned the calzone and kindly asked for this to be replaced . To our disgust we were told to take it or nothing , if we wanted something else to pay for it. We were also told we ordered donner meat. Which is not correct . I then returned home and called the back the shop and spoke to the girl who took the order who was deeply apolojetic. She offered to pay for my order out of her own money and bring it to me as she was also told if we want chicken we pay for this . Even though it was there staffs mistake . Whilst I was on the phone I could here the owner telling her to get off the phone and back to work by the time I got off the phone I felt sorry for the girl as she was also spoken to like something he had stood on and not a valuable employee . I am deeply disappointed and disgusted with the service and unwillingness to correct a mistake of there own . I will not...

Ordered 2 burgers and chips for me and my wife as she was coming off the back shift, sent 1 single buger with no chips and the other had chips. Was good so we just shared the chips and put it down to a mistake.

Ordered food again tonight, 1 double cheeseburger and 1 kismet half pounder which cones with donner meat and chips, food came 15 minutes late and they'd just sent 2 double cheeseburgers with no donner meat or salad. Called and the guy sounded very irate saying the order was correct until we explained again that it wasn't and there's no donner meat. He replied saying he'll send down some donner meat so we're currently sat waiting on the meat whilst our food goes cold. By the looks of the reviews, this place obviously has no idea how to operate and the customer service is non existent. I know some people read bad reviews and still give a place a chance but really...... don't waste your time and money, you'll be...
