Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

Had to change my rateing today. Went for a hot breakfast, ussually really good standard of food preperation etc. Today being friday was obviously a busy day for staff so had to wait a weecwhile for food to arrive. By the time it was on the table it was stone cold, flat sausage was ubder cooked and the only Hot bit of the meal was the egg which was by the look of it the only fresh part of the meal. Okay the girl said she was sorry it was cold but neither offered to heat or replace. My point is if you are going to advertise and take money for an all day breakfast then make an effort to ensure its actually warm if not hot. Shocking experience. Came here to experience and authentic Scottish Breakfast experience whilst on holiday. Stood around waiting to use the self service order machines, staff told me to go to the counter and order, nobody was there. So went back to the machine and couldn’t pay cash, so back to the counter where I had to walk round the back to get someone’s attention. Staff whinged and moaned about their colleague instead of their job and making sure customers had a good experience. Paid £7 for the ultimate breakfast. Beans, Eggs, Black Pudding & Tomato missing. Came to Morrison’s this morning for a Sunday Breakfast treat. I will say it was definitely a treat. When entering the café you can use the self service machines to order your food. Which I found easy. Once paid we picked up our drinks and cutlery and made our way to our table. The café is clean and tidy and wasn’t busy so we had our choice of table. Food arrived at the table in less than ten minutes which was great. The staff member was really nice and wished us a good day.
