I had a reservation for my parents wedding anniversary as seen in the screenshot. I’ve been previously and I’ve had great service food but today I phoned the restaurant saying we’d be late which they said was fine but the place had no space for us even though we had a reservation and they just said we can’t come in. This is ridiculous and should not happen! The waiter that came to speak to us was very rude and will not be going back.

I have rated 5 star because the pasta was excellent(like you get in Italy) and at a very reasonable price. It was a massive portion and I ate the lot because I was enjoying it so much. Ideally located if you are visiting Ross Hall Hospital. It was a Tuesday night at 8pm so understandably quiet. Staff were pleasant and food was quick. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

We ate at Leonardos for the first time last night. Right away we were greeted by friendly attentive staff who were very busy but still made time making us feel welcome. We enjoyed an ambient relaxed atmosphere which was a pleasure to dine in. The food was absolutely fantastic, not to mention the wine, we had both rosè and red which were excellent. Think we have found our new Italian.

Was really looking forward to this night out for dinner as it was our first since lockdown!! Boy we’re we disappointed!!! As soon as we walked in we were snapped at by the elderly waiter, who I think was the owner, he looked at his watch and huffed and puffed and said that we only had an hour because of government guidelines! It was 6,45pm and nowhere did it say on the booking that we only had an hour as far as we knew 2hrs was the time everyone is allowed so why book us in at that time?!! We thought Ok don’t say anything at least we were out and hopefully the food will b good. We were rushed to order, had mussels and bruschetta the mussels were ok ,although Luke warm , the bruschetta I cld have made better at home it was awful 😞 then we both ordered the fillet steak pasta which was so so bland the sauce was like tomato soup!! I’ve never put so much salt on my food to try and get some flavour but was still awful so never ate it! The only thing I enjoyed was the foccasia bread!! So That was the food the service was just as bad!!! The elderly waiter seemed to be annoyed or arguing with everyone, they reached over the table when serving instead of walking round ,our main course came 25mins after starter then some young guy out his face with no mask on stoated in off the street and asked to use the toilet and they let him !!!! When we said the food was bland there was no apology or offer to do anything about it ( and we weren’t the only ppl complaining) then we got hit with the £67 bill!!! Extremely overpriced for the quality and service!! Thank god we had a £50 voucher from Xmas!! On the way out my partner said “we’ll all we can hope for now is not to be ill!😩 All in all it’s no Bella Vita !!! We eat out all the time and that is definitely not what you expect from an Italian restaurant will definitely not be going...

Mixed review, was in today for the 2 course lunch. 1pm on a Tuesday but it was surprisingly busy. Three members of staff on. We were seated promptly and served quickly. Starters were all very good, I eat Minestrone a lot and I really enjoy one that's full of chunky veg which this was. Kids meal did seem good value but we were charged for the kids drink which we had to have removed from the bill as it was meant to be included. After sitting for 45 min after the starters were cleared we asked the waiter where our mains were. He rather rudely informed us that can't we see that they are busy and that they are on their way! We were a bit surprised by his attitude, no apology, no offer to check and see what had happened. After sitting for another 15 min (2.30pm now) I approached the bar with an empty jug to ask for water. 90 minutes and no offer to replenish drinks... At this point the young man behind the bar apologised for the wait, said that there had been a mix up and that our food would be with us very soon. At least there was an apology!

It was clear there had been a problem as tables that had arrived at the same time as us had had two courses and left. Mains arrived and I can honestly say that they were all delicious, we had to eat fast as we were picking people up at 3pm. Such a shame as we would have liked a coffee and possibly a dessert. We left at 2.55pm and didn't tip as we had felt largely ignored. The food however is nice, good portions and a good price for £9.95 for 2 courses. If time is no object or if there are more/different staff on I...

Went for the first time today 3/1/20. It won’t be the last time. Can’t believe we have this fabulous restaurant on our corner. First of all the staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. The food is amazing and they give you a bit of time between courses. I hate it when your food is brought out as soon as you finish one course. I had my Special Needs Daughter with me and my husband and they were so great with her. There was an older gentleman there and he was amazing with her. He even gave her a sweet free of charge. It is a family run and family orientated restaurant. Prices were good too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and me, my daughter and husband will definitely be regulars. Thanks Leonardos.I am reviewing this restaurant for take away 5/8/23. I honestly love this restaurant but I have to say a few times now when we have ordered a home delivery we are always short of an item. Tonight it was a mushroom starter. Don’t get me wrong everything we did get was lovely but when you are spending £50+ on a take away you expect to get everything you ordered. I am really disappointed and think I will order from else where in future and to be honest it is actually putting me off going back to the restaurant. Which is so unfortunate because we don’t go to many restaurants because of my daughter and this is always a favourite. As far as take away is concerned at most...
