I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this lovely Italian restaurant in Glasgow south side and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely kind staff who went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
The food was nothing short of exceptional so fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. From the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich, authentic sauces, every dish was a delight. The pizza was also incredible crisp, light, and absolutely delicious.
What really stood out though, was the customer service. The team were attentive without being intrusive, incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so well taken care of.
If you’re in Glasgow and love Italian food, this place is an absolute must visit. Fresh food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere I’ll...
Read moreI've been here 3 times now. It's been out of necessity more than anything. The first time I visited the female server was lovely, and the atmosphere was good.
The second and third time, it was a male server, who isn't welcoming, comes across as rude and like he can't be bothered with you.
On my second visit, I had eggs benedict with salmon, the salmon was slimy, and not to the standard I would have expected. I asked for an oat milk Mocha, and I believe the oat milk to have been off. If it had been the female server, I would have felt comfortable saying something, but the male server already seemed annoyed, so I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up.
The third time I visited, the same male server was on. I ordered a mocha and chocolate cake. I was seated, and he shouted me over to come collect my drink. Yeah, okay, it is no big deal, but he served others their drinks at their tables after me? Again, the atmosphere wasn't comfortable.
I won't be making...
Read moreReally sorry to have to give such a poor rating as we've eaten at Bella Fresca several times in the past and I would say it's always been slightly above average for what it is. Unfortunately this visit proved well below average, in fact it was seriously disappointing. The quality of the food served was appalling. I paid 8.95 for what amounted to a flattened toasted Ciabatta with almost nothing on it. There was supposed to be some form of ham on it but it was barely visible. I felt as if I paid near 9 pound for a bit of toast. Really very poor value for money. My partner ordered a different sandwich and was equally disappointed, such a shame they've let it go as we used to enjoy going there. We wondered why we were one of only two tables being used, there was a time when it was always very busy. I do hope this review reaches the necessary people to bring the quality back to...
