Such a friendly local cafe with a delicious menu suitable for all tastes. We were in the local area for the Mighty Deerstalker event and visited here for lunch followed by breakfast the next day we enjoyed it that much. Between us we tried most of the panini/sandwich options as well as the eggy bread with maple syrup and bacon! The breakfast sandwich (Sausage Egg and Bacon was my choice) was exactly what was needed after the event the night before. 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through - dog and muddy person friendly too!

Called in for lunch and a cuppa after a day mtb riding and fancied the pancakes with baked apple, toffee icecream and cinnamon butter. Wow...a huge plateful arrived that i wasnt expecting! It was a little dry for me (needed more syrupy sauce) so i only managed half of it - although my husband ate one pancake after his brie, bacon and cranberry pannini. All washed down with a huge pot of tea. Nice warm cafe with pleasant staff and good seating- would recommend.

Only place that served breakfast along with anything else on the menu, so different but I loved the idea. We were visiting from Newcastle-upon-Tyne and only there for the day so really pleased we found this fab place. I’m vegan and had so many options, oat milk coffee with a roast tomato, pepper and pesto panini omg it was amazing, you can take you’re dogs in to do that was great for us. Really chilled environment and food lovely, staff were so so nice

Twice I've been disappointed with this place so I simply won't be disappointed third time. A few months ago 6 of us come in for a breakfast and ordered from the very confusing menu. We were told that your only aloud so many items as the server said "the chef gets stressed" we offered to pay extra for the items we wanted to add beans ect but were told no. I must admit when the food came it was nice however there wasn't enough This week I called into the cafe and tried to order a cheese toasty but was told the kitchen closes at 4pm, it was 4 mins to 4pm. I was fobbed off with a bowl of soup that I declined and left the shop. We won't be back as there is clearly an issue with the chef who it seems carnt be bothered to cook. Anyway next morning we thought we would avoid that place and try Weatherspoons in Peebles, we ordered 6 very large lovely Scottish breakfast that were served quickly and...

This is a lovely little cafe. The place has a very personal connection for me so it was lovely to visit, reminisce and see what a beautiful place it has become. It has a lovely, relaxing interior with comfortable seating choices. The menu choices are great, there is a lovely variety to choose from. The coffee was spot on! My panini was made exactly to order and it was really delicious. I also took away a very large slice of carrot cake which was also absolutely perfect. It is also not over priced, which is a great bonus! Look forward to my next visit, I cant wait to go back. I think I have convinced myself of a...

Will not be going back! After giving our order our coffees arrived quickly which were welcome on a cold day but had to remain in our coats for duration! Only one other table in before us at the time that had ordered food which we saw being served and another customer after that who ordered a scone so why we waited a further 30 minutes for two basic paninis is unacceptable. In that time a member of staff took her break and was even fed!!! On arriving it was lukewarm, served on a saucer it was that small, with little filling for the price and no side garnish whatsoever! Very disappointing...
