I asked for the complaints procedure I was met with āgo on thenā. I asked the manager for him and the other manager full name but was refused this other than his name is Chris ! He did not know or could or would not provide complaints procedure!
I had to take my order back due to reheated fries and nuggets that were undercooked or again recooked (texture rubber and chicken hard) But itās okay Chris the manager cooked the nuggets himself! All I wanted was my order replaced and cooked properly as I paid for, simple, but this couldnāt be done because they had changed over to breakfast! Now, they could do that but I appreciate it would have been a step too far as itās breakfast time and imagine the multi tasking!
All they can do is a full refund. A refund doesnāt help me, at this point. If I wanted the money I wouldnāt have come to McDonaldās for food, or come back with the ?food that was originally provided. Anyway nothing Chris can do and then he begins with the scowls, body language and rudeness. I am not proud to admit I did lower myself to Chris attitude which I will reflect on as just because the manager is incompetent, unhelpful and aggressive in manor I should not have said āI canāt be arsed with thisā to be met with a Chris becoming more aggressive in tone and shaking of head! Then for him to say he was not being spoken to like this by me and all He can do is give a full refund or put my name in the book. Attitude of Chris was a joke and I can appreciate how staff feel they donāt have to make food edible for the customer or have any job satisfaction Now I donāt believe the customer is always right but when evidence is brought back and you can visibly see the food is not fit for purpose donāt then treat the customer as a fool!
So realisation Chris is unable to help I took the refund. But Chris who made my food didnāt know what he was refunding for. He tried to say he didnāt know what drink so I told him. Then Chris came back with pound coins no idea why he thinks giving me pound coins would be an issue but this was the mentality of a manager I had been met with. Now it wasnāt about the money or the refund or I could have went back and asked Chris for the full refund he had offered because Chris the manager canāt count and provide me with correct refund that he has offered to rectify the situation he had created.
Conclusion Manager ? Chris with no surname (dark hair, dark glasses) canāt cook and is happy for food to go out reheated and not fit for purpose, because as he said he did it himself. Unable to solve problems when they arise and deal with a customer. Then lying to say that he could not cook the food. (Actually he prob wasnāt lying as he is correct he can not cook food). The fryers had been changed for breakfast. Chris Does not provide good leadership, has a terrible attitude and also canāt count (Simple maths).
So Chris thank you for the experience you gave me 10th August 2022 at 5.15 am, just what I needed. Hopefully you can get yourself on a cooking course, customer relations course, a leadership course and basic maths course (adding up) for the future to help you with your career and probably a management course. McDonalds can help with this so at your next PDP ask for the help you need.
There was another manager but she has no name, nice colourful jumper and hair pulled back. Chris refused to give her name as this was his problem!!! However, girl with no name couldnāt help hence I dealt with Chris.
My lesson of today check food before leaving McDonalds to ensure itās cooked properly, and fit for consumption, donāt just check everything is in the bag. When met with the response ācanāt/wonāt do nothing to helpā appreciate that the one thing Chris is sincere about is that he canāt/wonāt help rectify the situation and there is absolutely no point in having any kind of conversation as he will try and turn it around to being your fault and attempt to turn the conversation into an argument where he implies that you have absolutely no right to question his...
Ā Ā Ā Read morešØ 50% OF ORDER MISSING!!! šØ Firstly when the order came the just eat driver dropped the drinks and started laughing. Then I realised that half of the food missing. I went to the just eat driver as he was still in the car, the just eat driver actually tried to driver away when he seen me. I told him about the missing food and he told me to call McDonaldās, I explained when I call them they tell me to call just eat. He then lied to me and said he wasnāt employed by nor did he work for just eat which the manager Beth at McDonalds Mid Craigie told me he did and she confirmed he was lying.
Initially when I spoke to Beth she was understanding. However when I asked to take the matter further she became very different and difficult, providing no solutions other than contacting just eat. I then asked for the other managers names that work in her branch (first name only) to which she said as they werenāt working she did not have to provide this information, i explained it was simply so I know who to ask for when i come in the shop if she wasnāt there. Again another lie as you can provide a first name regardless if they are on shift or not, especially when itās related to a very poor experience and you are simply asking who to speak to. Finally after realising there was ZERO interest in solving my missing food I asked why half of a 6 piece order was missing and if anyone checks the orders are correct before they go out, (which is there standard protocol) she explained they where understaffed so didnāt check the orders tonight š® Let alone allergies which could be a law suit, but simply throwing things in bags and taking people money. It would be interesting to see how the staff would react if it was their hard end cash. I guarantee you though they werenāt that short staffed to make sure every payment went through when paying for the orders. āSO MAKE SURE THEY PAY BUT DONT MAKE SURE THEY GET WHAT THEY PAY FORā āAbsolute zero interest in providing a service never mind a good service that people pay for. Pathetic service from top to bottom...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited for the first time in years, entered door from outside seating area. Hand sanitisers inside. Ordered using a machine and paid by card. Machine asked for a table number (i had no clue) asked a member of staff at other entrance, she asked me to scan track and trace on door, didnt work, got ushered in anyway, picking up a table number on my way to sit outside. At a table, I gave it and bench a wipe with a sanitised wipe as it didnt look clean, which table top and bench wasnt. Table beside me had rubbish left from food purchased lying on table, bench and ground, Yes you are meant to bin your own rubbish but sadly everyone doesn't. My Server passed the table twice to give me my orders, and just walked by it. There was also another table in the enclosed area with rubbish still on table and on the ground. I finished my food, chicken wrap, fries and a bottle of water, food was good, as fast food goes. My one star review is based on the lack of signage on doors, (not that I saw) should there not be one door entry, one door exit. Tables cleared of rubbish, not left making the place untidy, also its encouraging seagulls and crows which i saw just hovering about waiting to pounce on any food they saw on tables. At the side entrance I saw a queue waiting to enter, with a member of staff allowing people out and in at the same door. Sadly not impressed with this McDonalds covid safety measures that they have in place. Their procedures need...
