The hidden gem of the NC500! If you're travelling through Wick, this is well worth a stop. It doesn't look much from the outside but the warm welcome, friendly banter and hospitality were all second to none. The barman couldn't hear enough about our trip so far and our plans for the next few days, showering us with recommendations and helpful tips. The love for the tourist was almost overwhelming, and the staff went out of their way to set us up on the WiFi, to lend us a phone charger and to handmake us their speciality house cocktail (ask for Ralph, with a knowing wink - he makes a mean martini).
