One of the strangest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had, and would absolutely recommend going there, and would go back.

We had called ahead to book a table and when we arrived were met with a rope across the door - like getting into a popular nightclub. We were shown upstairs to our table - the decor and the music was a bit kitsch but we loved it.

The staff upstairs communicate via walkie - talkies which was amusing, it was like a military operation. But to be fair to them they were very efficient and attentive. The food was the stand out here, absolutely excellent - we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bruschetta starter which was really fresh and flavourful, and both our pizzas were great too. Also very...

We’ve only just discovered this restaurant as we don’t tend to travel to Wick to eat out, preferring Thurso or further south on the A9. So, fancying Italian food for a change, we had a quiet dinner at Devita’s for the first time last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent, service was exceptional and prices were very fair indeed. We only wish we had discovered this restaurant sooner, as we learned last night that the current owners are retiring and the property and business are up for sale. Let’s hope it is sold to someone who intends to continue with the Italian theme and runs it as well...

After reading the reviews I decided to try Devitas. So I glad I did. After being in a tent for 2 weeks with average food I was looking forward to a nice meal. The staff were attentive, friendly and anything I asked for. The food wasn’t rushed out to me and a nice amount of time between my starter, Jalapeño Toppers (yummy) and my main, Mexican Pizza, which was just the right size and also full of flavour and fresh vegetables. I had the Pinot Gris which wasn’t bad and pretty cheap. Altogether a lovely...

What a relief. After having a horrible "Medditeran experience" at Luqoom in Inverness (it was horrible Italian food), this was a breath of fresh air. Those with nut allergies will be pleased to hear that main food dishes and sides do not have nuts (not sure about deserts). The Pizza was spectacular and was the perfect size. The soup of the day was minestrone soup, and was great. The waitresses were fantastic. Be aware, at busy hours you need a reservation. Overall great restaurant in Wick.

We went to Devitas for an early dinner - we had booked for 6pm but finished wandering around Wick early so dropped in at the restaurant at 5:30. We were seated immediately with no issues at all. The staff were super friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in til the moment we walked out. My partner ordered the penne chorizo chicken and I had the penne belly pork and both were absolutely gorgeous. We also received some complimentary herb bread. We highly recommend this restaurant!
