After a brief chat with one of my relatives, my wife and I visited the Metro Mumbai yesterday (late afternoon). It took a while to decide what to eat as there was so many mouth-watering dishes on offer. I went for the Meen Polichadu (grilled fish prepared in a coastal style with fiery spices, wrapped up in banana leaf) – starter. I had never had food presented in a banana leaf before so this was quite special. Gorgeously spicy (although not overly) and tasty, I can definitely recommend this as a starter. For my main, I had Goan Fish Curry (Tangy and spicy fresh fish cooked in tamarind infused cream sauce). This was slightly milder than my starter, but nonetheless, really tasty and along with the lovely naan bread, a real treat for the tastebuds! As a nice little bonus, we also got 25% off the food due to Mumbai Metro’s Easter offer, so always nice to save a few pounds as well. Would definitely recommend visiting here to anyone who enjoys the delights of Indian street food!!

Mumbai Metro Bar Restaurant is a total hit! As soon as you step in, you're greeted by this trendy vibe that just screams Mumbai cool. And the food? It's a delicious fusion of traditional Indian flavours with a modern twist. The famous Mumbai Vadapav, Saag Paneer, Veg Chettinad, Lamb Chops– absolute heaven! Their cocktail game is strong too, perfect for kicking back and enjoying the lively atmosphere. But what really seals the deal is the awesome staff who make you feel like part of the family. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this spot is a must-visit for a true taste of Mumbai!

Myself and my wife visited this restaurant, we were not disappointed. It was nicely furnished and looked quite new inside. lovely atmosphere, and the staff were very attentive. We had the butter chicken and chilli chicken both prepared in really rich creamy sauces. Mr Gurpreet the owner served us what a polite and nice man. We are back off to Manchester tomorrow shame its so far away from us, we would be in every week. This restaurant is better value than any of the restaurants in Manchester. Maybe back to Edinburgh later this year, and will visit again. Highly recommend.

Just had a wonderful meal at Mumbai Metro. The food was truly authentic home style Indian; none of your multicoloured pilau and fake bright red curries here! This is by far the best Indian food I have had outside India. The pilau rice was absolutely perfect; full of gorgeous aromatic spices. We had the Aubergine masala and Egg curry; both were gorgeous and you could tell this was all cooked with love. Chilli paneer was spicy and very tasty. We were very happy to see plenty unusual offerings for vegetarians and can't wait to taste the masala dosas which are to be introduced soon. The mango lassi was a perfect accompaniment; a sweet fresh drink, as was the cold draught Kingfisher beer. The Kulfi and a Gulab jamun for dessert rounded off this meal perfectly. Prices are good for what is served and we will absolutely be back soon. Lovely to see South Indian offerings on the menu too. This venture will undoubtedly be winning prizes soon for their food and friendly service and lovely atmosphere...I give...

Service very poor, waited a very long time to be served, this was for food and drink. We were a group of 10 people and one of our group told me that they were a bit surprised with us being a big group. We had booked the table for 10 about a month ago? Also they squeezed us into a table which was not really suitable for a group. Food took forever to arrive and on my dish there were only 4 small pieces of chicken, it was all the sauce. I can only think they were short of staff as one of our group had said they had been twice before and it was fine. The staff, well the young girl and the one man at the bar and occasionally a man from the kitchen were very pleasant even though they looked rushed of there feet. I see from previous reviews that they get 5 stars, I can only call it as I see it Wont...
