Olive Tree Cafe — Restaurant in Scotland

Found this lovely dog friendly cafe today. 2 small dogs, my son and 2 adults. Lovely cosy feel with a friendly reception. Great menu, son ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows and really enjoyed it. We ordered Brie and caramelised onion paninis with a lovely side salad and a Lorne sausage bap. All meat they serve comes from the local butchers. Very enjoyable. Coffees were lovely too. Such a treasure to find somewhere with this ace standard of service and food. We will be back. Tuna and mayo sandwich was great. Might have been better with more things mixed in or some greens or sprouts on top of the tuna.. the brie and caramelized onions was also good, though for some reason I thought it was to come toasted, might be better warm. We were looking for a takeaway roll and coffee, after walking part of the coastal way. The staff were excellent, asked if we wanted white, brown or well fired roll. I had a cheese and salad and my friend the cheese and onion, they weren't in the least skimpy on the filling, to top it off we both had an empire biscuit which just melted in the mouth.
