I was waiting for my order of chips and the woman comes over with them and asked who ordered the chips. I said it was me and she gave me a strange look and went “are you sure” it made me feel out of place and confused as i was standing in the right place and it made me feel like I was trying to chance a free lunch. After that I was charged 25p just for a fork and it was made out of cardboard. The woman had an accusatory tone and was judging me even though there was NO conflict of who ordered the chips. Ordered a black pudding roll earlier, one slice of black pudding...or you could get two slices for £3.80 - This place is for students, absolutely no subsidy whatsoever. Can never get a seat during peak times to eat here. Chips are cooked in bulk and left in basket so are soggy, undercooked & warm. The prices are competitive with the shop on campus and pizza is the only good thing from here. Although… who wants a full pizza for lunch?🥴 Sauces are cheap and not much taste, the cheese dosent melt on pitatos & chips & the takeaway prices are expensive. Never may napkins or cutlery...
