Sharkys Bar and Diner — Restaurant in Scotland

Absolutely shocking, they don't have enough staff to maintain a busy diner food was cold, they seated us ajar from open doors that a breeze was coming in to make the food colder and my mother was cold after sitting there just short of 3 hrs with a breeze, I feel the chef needs to do his/her health and hygiene certificate again to learn about temperature of food when giving it to the public, the cheese wasnt even melted onto the nachos and minimal chilli but loaded with salsa... for the price they were charging you would of thought the food would of been better quality, the staff never came up to ask if everything was ok and if they did i would of made these issues clear, I mentioned it to the staff when i went to pay they did apologise I was in the diner for around 3 hours for a two course meal, I certainly...

Nipped in for lunch after my wife's shift finished, and Fiona couldn't have been nicer or more friendly! Portions were generous, and food was delicious! The spicy Mac and cheese chicken burger was just the right amount of spicy, whilst being creamy and cheesy. Real veg was used, and not the cheap bags of salad or pre sliced tomatoes. The plate was cleaned! Coffee was nice and came with real milk. There were 3 young families (babies and toddlers) in when we were there, so definitely a family friendly diner. Telephoned ahead to ask when they were open, was told 6pm. We arrived at 1.45 for lunch, told the kitchen was closing at 2pm, premises closing at 3pm. We were told we could get lunch, however when we tried to order, most of the dishes were not available. Drinks ordered wasn't what we asked for when served. We were making moves to leave when a member of staff said ' you need to leave' SERIOUSLY???? The request could have been put in a more polite manner!! Safe to say we won't...
