One of my fav pubs solely due to the great choice of beer available both on tap or straight from the fridge. This pub like most wetherspoons does the basics right like cold beer from the fridge with clean proper beer glasses. The food is what to expect from such an establishment but for me it's the choice of beer at fantastic prices makes this place a must go if I'm ever in Arbroath 👍

Very large and pleasant pub in the centre of town. Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. A welcome oasis in a sadly decaying and neglected town. It's a Wetherspoons so you can expect the usual deals and fayre! Great value, enjoyable visit.

Ah, the seediest pub in town—a place so full of character, it practically oozes charm (and possibly a few questionable stains). I never fail to miss it, mostly because it’s a magnet for the truly unforgettable. The floor? Let’s just say it’s seen better days—but it’s all part of the atmosphere. The lighting is dim enough to make you question your choices, but bright enough for you to really appreciate the vintage wallpaper (which may or may not be from the 70s, or perhaps an alternate dimension). The barstaff? They’re absolutely lovely, but you might want to keep your wits about you—I’ve had more than one conversation about the meaning of life while a guy in the corner passionately argued about whether or not he could “drink more than a fish.” The regulars? Well, they’re characters, to say the least. A perfect blend of eccentric and memorable, with stories that could rival any tall tale. But let’s be real—despite the shady vibes, there’s something magnetic about this place. It’s a pub of the people where everything happens, but you don’t quite remember how or why. I wouldn't change a thing. Five stars for sheer unpredictability—and the chips are...

Decided with my friends to go into the weatherspoons in arbroath for sunday lunch. Have been many times before without an adult present however just ordered through the app when ordering due to being underage at the bar. One of our apps weren’t working so decided we’d try going up to the bar to order a meal. Was rather skeptical because we are underage however had done it before without a issue so tried again. Our meals consisted of chicken and soft drinks. Caitlin at till 3 served us and rudely turned us away. The 2 of is that ordered through the app ordered with out an issue and got served our drinks shortly after without being questioned so rather confused why some have an issue with it and some do not. Obviously due to us being unable to be in here, we were refunded the money however were not told or reassured where the money is and when it would go back into our account. Would just like to say if you set a rule make sure to follow up everytime and don’t switch it up when suited. In most cases the staff have been lovely so unfortunately it was a big let down being treated and spoken to in this manner as...

Came here for a Sunday breakfast, which was adequate. Unfortunately, the day car is left to be desired.I do not think the places had a refurb in at least two and a half decades. The tea and coffee machines were self servant, which is absolutely fine for refills. Unfortunately, one of the machines was switched off on being hoovered, so there was a massive cue around the shop.I'm to the bar for people waiting on tea and coffee. The idea of scanning a qr code so you can sell service and order your food to be brought to the table is a nice modern touch, but unfortunately, it's the only moderate thing about this cornexchange. I could pull a photographs of this place from 2005, and it would still...
