Bought my Vauxhall Movano from Falkirk van sales back mid December 2024. The sales team were terrific and that was the only highlight with the promise of a great van with warranty ?? The van that I bought on delivery early January after being MOT,d ??? was delivered to my address. That was where the plot began to thicken. Due to heavy snow on delivery could not properly check the van but noticed a hissing from the brake servo. I also noticed I could not get the van to start on the key, intermittent starting, the side door would not lock, the brake fault light came on and the mileage display flashed intermittantly. Tried calling Falkirk van sales, no answer but did respond by email. Due to the distance was advised to use Momentum warranty and get the van faults fixed. Well now that was some experience. Tried calling momentum and after 40 minutes on each and every call you would eventually get through but someone different on every call. Was advised to take to reputable garage to get quote. Six garages later and umpteen hours trying to get through to momentum eventually got my brake servo and starter replaced. All the garages i went to laughed when i mentioned momentum warranties including names like halfords commercial. Basically I ended up forking out an extra £600 to pay for the labour on the servo and starter. As for the other faults they are still out standing, also my local mechanic noted that there had been some patch up body repairs done to the body and a partial re spray. I still have about £1000 of repairs to do on the van. My advice is stay well clear of Falkirk van sales. You have been warned, google the owner, take heed folks this is not a professional outfit. Trading standards next This lot should not be...
Read moreBought a van back in June. Went to have a look at it and was advised the MOT will be carried out along with the requested changes.
All money was transferred (almost £22000.00) and when we went to pick the van up it had engine management light on and upon phoning Stephen (owner) was told I am on holiday can can't do anything until I come back.
When we drove the van within 4 days the back bumper fell off, none of the sensors were working, back door wasn't opening without damaging the light, engine oil was over filled. Took it back and was told that the van is under manufacture warranty (which is why we bought it) and they can deal with it. Took the van there and they said thus van is badly damaged and it doesn't fall under warranty. Soke to the owner and he wasn't having any of it and then eventually spoke to trading standards and was advised to send a letter refusing the van. The van was MOT'd but we are positive that the mot wasn't legal (as windscreen had a crack, engine management light was on and while changing pads they damaged the sensors without knowing. Don't know who carried this out and what knowledge they had). The VW garage gave me a bill ok £2900.00.
Any way I can go on an on but I advise is DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY. The van was bad damaged from back and had a quick paint job which I could tell when I looked at it for less then 5min. And also when asked forn2nd key they said they don't have it. Another £220.00 bill and all this while they have been paid in full.
Be vary when purchasing from them. Would never ever go back to them and highly recommend anyone NOT TO TRUST A SINGLE...

I recently tried to buy a Volkswagen Crafter from Falkirk Van Sales and put down a £300 deposit based on their promises that certain issues with the van would be fixed before collection. Big mistake. When I went to pick it up, none of the major problems had been properly addressed, and I quickly realized the van was not as described.
When I first viewed it in December 2024, I pointed out a squeaky pulley, missing window controls, a badly torn driver’s seat with missing foam, and a smashed rear tail light. They assured me all of this would be sorted. Not only did they fail to fix the seat, but the pulley issue was only given a short-term patch-up job. On top of that, there was previous damage to the near side of the van that had been poorly repaired, something they conveniently didn’t mention and wasn’t visible during the initial viewing due to how the van was parked. To make matters worse, the ad claimed the van had “good bodywork with cloth interior in great condition,” which was just not true.
Despite all this, they’re refusing to refund my deposit. At no point was I told it was non-refundable—had I known, I wouldn’t have left it in the first place. Given the van wasn’t in the condition they promised, they have no right to keep my money.
I have been emailing this place for months at the email found on their site, even though they have been telling me to email in with a complaint like the response below, but...
