The portions of rice are quite small, they come in a little plastic cup that they tip out into the centre of the plate when serving.

Read moreI really can’t fault this place both in the excellence of the food, the service and the cost. The nan bread is perfect in every way, so fresh! The special Bhuna is awesome and goes so well with the chicken tikka chasni if you’re like me and share with hubby . Pakora tastes fresh and crisp . Like I said I can’t fault it..... even the humble chips are brilliant! If you have kids, the kids menu is very reasonable with fantastic kids portions. My son had chicken burger with chips & salad and loved it. We’ve dined in and collected ( too many ) take aways during Covid and both have been great. Obvs eating in is best tho... no dishes to clear...
Read moreMAGNIFICENT! Had lunch inside the Indian Cottage a few weeks ago with my girlfriends and the service was superb...staff very attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was so good we ordered a take away tonight and it was that amazing I actually called them to tell them! Portion sizes were fabulous and we have tons left over. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and honestly it's the best I have ever tasted! The garlic Nan was to die for too! Growing up in Kirkintilloch the Indian Cottage was undeniably the best in town...I can safely say it's still the best in town after all these years! Keep up the high standards team...
