The Music Room — Restaurant in Scotland

My self and girlfriend fancyed a pub lunch 1st very long time,sadly now Larkhall your very limited on Ware u can go but we went hear, my 1st time since new owners took over, place is very nice even tho it's a football bar, anyway she ordered the fish n chips I went for the beef burger, staff keeped us informed sadly fish would take a bit extra time, we no problems with this as we're were chati g at leat till they put music on sadly ourr table was below a very loud speaker so had resort to shout at each other after over 30mins out lunch had arvied her fish looked slightly under done as it was very pale, but was over done fish? How u do this I'm still confused by I took one bite out an onion ring and that was me mouth full of oil, put me off even eating after this my burger was cremated behond belife anyway and severed on a brioche bun so sweet roll with a savory bun... No mayo no butter just dryxwith very dry burger, after she ate 2=3bite fish she couldent eat anymore as the fish had started to swim in the oil it was resting on... Less £20 but given the choice I wouldent of gave them a pound for it, all and all avoid unless it's just drinks! Sorry as said fantastic for drinks avoid if u hungry. Sorry for bad spelling too😞...

I was pleasantly surprised with the food as the girl serving asked if I was over 60, she then said I could have a meal for £4. As I had ordered a large soup, I thought I would give the £4 meal a go. The soup was lentil, which had no carrot in it apart from a few slithers which you could hardly see. I would have paid a bit more for the carrot through it. Then the main meal came out and it didn't look very good but tasted a lot better and was more than I expected. So although it wasn't the greatest meal you couldn't complain for...

What a fantastic night in such an excellent wee boozer! I hosted this evening karaoke @Elliott Entertainments & Elliott DJE and WOW, you made my first night awesome, great friendly atmosphere and a great bunch of people with some outstanding singers.
