The Village Inn — Restaurant in Scotland

I have now visited and dined in a group at the new 'Village Inn' Bishopbriggs. AMANDA has brought a new exciting pub/ retaurant which will offer the best of heritage of ' Auchinairn Tavern' and an updated community focal point. With new decor, varied range of day, evening and Sunday events, the 'Inn's initial wide appeal already shows the public have taken it to heart. With Peter now as Manager, efficient, friendly staff and wide selection of quality food and drink, it is clearly going to be a top East Dunbarton venue. The village inn has a great new look, very inviting atmosphere. Lots of parking outside which is a great bonus. The food was absolutly lovely, id say well above pub grade food. Only downsides was a a few of the staple items on the menu wern't available and had to pick something else. It was only 3pm on a sunday but u expect teething problems with any new place so wasnt a big deal. Only other thing was the service, one behind the bar and one serving resulted in it taking just under 3 hours to get our 3 course meal. Had lunch at the village in today as a large group. Contacted ahead to say we would be coming and only had a short time scale; menu was sent through email, we chose our food abs replied. Once we got there, everyone was seated together and our drinks order was taken and delivered quickly.. the food was served quickly, hot and delicious. Staff were very attentive and asked everyone of their food was okay. Everyone was happy with the quality and quantity of their food and all left very satisfied. Will definitely be...
