Went twice during our stay in Gigha. 1st day was so busy they ran out of chips, but they did offer alternative and staff were lovley! On the second day, same lovley staff, but this time we went for the ice cream, which is delicious and very reasonably priced! It's also very clean inside and out, and there is some seating, too. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Just had a lovely meal here, called in at lunch time but fancied a cooked breakfast, wow! Full Scottish, high quality bacon delicious square sausage and black pudding! Think its a tatty scone? (very tasty) quality beans, nice egg and toast! Wife had soup and a toaste and i finished with local (i think) ice-cream! Great coffee too๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Awful place. Could not believe this threatening sign that put me on edge as soon as we walked in. The sandwiches we ordered were overpriced and burnt. The 2 girls working were miserable and rude. Good ice creams though.

It's a good place, with some local ingredients. The Isle of Gigha's milk is popular, and they use it as a source to many of their items/dishes. This is great, as it gives the cafe a real sense of local excellence.

However! The review is 3 stars because the cafe experience and dishes can improve by loads. I won't list all the things that I think would take the cafe to a whole new level; but the key is staying local and home-making almost every dish that's served. And also, getting a proper coffee machine with some sort of collaboration with a local coffee producer would help massively. And why not team up with the baker next door for rolls and bagels?

This place has the location and the space. Plenty of it in a great spot. It just needs to give people a bigger reason to come and spend the money on! The quality of the experience needs to improve quite a bit. Please take this review as advice; I would be so happy to see the cafe improving on...

Yum yum. First visit today (and will be back!!). Perfect wee cafe. Nice choice of food (brekkie rolls delicious) and local produce used where possible. Ice cream looks amazing (is it inappropriate to have ice cream for breakfast ๐Ÿค”) and unusual flavours which need trying out (mango chutney and ginger is on my list). Staff friendly and good prices.

No doggies allowed inside (understandably as can be wet and muddy), but tables outside with great views.

Good on ya folks for creating a nice wee cafe for residents...

Went here today and the food was not good. Burger was chewy I watched them cook it then put cheese on it and then put in microwave to melt the cheese I mean nothing like overcooking a burger also the crisps were soggy with the other meals and the roll on ham was not the best and baked Potato I would give it a 3/10 Very disappointed Certainly would not recommend they were running on Half power so not sure if this had something to do with their issues or not and we got a...
