Coop’s — Restaurant in Sefton

Ordered from here last night went direct through their website (later find out it's run through foodhub) after waiting an hour I call to see if there is any update a rude man said we have just got ur order we will do it when I said oh I placed it an hour ago he went well take it with food hub it's their problem not mine. He said he would have the food to me within 20 mins but would have free fries in the bag. The food took yet another 40 mins to arrive not the 20 long behold no fries in the bag there was a small bottle of Pepsi. And all the food was I would say warm the chicken n fries combo the chips went in the bin as they were room temp and sweaty. the wraps with cheese chips and Donna again warm the cheese was still in perfect grated shape so could tell it had not been made with anything hot as non of it had melted. I would avoid here if you like hot food and polite staff.

Actually feel like I should have just asked for a refund and not the food when they said it not their problem and for me to speak to food hub....

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place really earned it. The food arrived absolutely freezing — not even lukewarm — and tasted like it had been sitting around for years. Grim doesn’t even begin to cover it.

To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude and dismissive when I called. Rather than offering any kind of solution, like a refund or replacement, I was basically told tough luck. Their attitude was completely out of order — no professionalism, no courtesy.

It’s only about 7 minutes away from me, yet somehow the food turned up as if it had taken a world tour first. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid at all costs — there are far better options nearby that at least serve hot food and treat customers...

Tonight we ordered two meals from Coops. King burger with cheesy chips and 7 piece chicken strips with chips. Not only did we wait an hour and ten minutes for our food to arrive (prompted 35 minutes on delivery). But when it did we found that both portions of chips weren’t cooked through and half frozen along with semi cooked burgers on the king burger. Not one item was hot, luke warm at best. We didn’t even risk the chicken as they didn’t feel hot. Everything went into the bin. May as well had whipped out a £20 note and set...
